Binding of Isaac inspired gameplay is always a plus for me, fun scaling mechanic so I found myself playing for a long while, good stuff!

How does you game fit the theme?
ROB needs to escape the lab where he was created. The journey ahead is full of danger, but he is not alone. With the help of other bots that are trapped in the lab, he maybe has a chance.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Music and SFX was downloaded off the internet, credit was given in the "Credits" section of the main menu.

I'm addicted. I'd love to play this with dual analog sticks. The money saving above 100 is a nice touch, that really helped me accelerate progress. I'd definitely come back to this if you continue adding features!
This is a really good game! Impressive that you made all the systems with buying upgrades, getting minions, procedural generation and so on, in such a short time! Even boss battles! Somehow a bug turned me invincible after a while, so I ended upp getting very far (though I should have died many times). In the end i quit, because it took so long time to kill a single enemy with my unupgraded weapon.
I have two small suggestions.
- At one point, I clicked the menu by mistake because it appeard so fast after I died. Perhaps a slight delay with gradual fading out to the menu?
- It was also a bit unclear to me whether I should wait to die to get back to the upgrade room. First, I thought so, and put a lot of upgrades on "keep scraps after death". Then I noticed "go to room" in the menu, so I went for a big raid and collected loads of scrap, and then clicked "go to room" before I died. And LOST IT ALL 😱 Why is "go to room" even in the menu if it's worse than dying? If there is a reason, at least there should be a warning "you will lose all your scrap".
Despite those details, this is one of the best games I've played this jam. Great work! 😄
This is the kinda game I would play as a kid and made me want to become a game dev. Great job!
Amazing game! Very fun and intuitive! The little robot that can follow you is also very cute!
A great game with good level of polishing and fun gameplay but as other people suggested i too suggest about crosshair. Apart from this it is a great and polished game 👌
Please do check mine too😇
Nice game ! I really liked the amount of content, the boss fights were a plus ! Maybe you should add a crosshair because I often lose my mouse on the white background. You could maybe add some feedback when the player hits an enemy.
Great game!
Art and gameplay where fun. The boss fight was cool.
The only improvement I'd wish for would be a crosshair mouse cursor that has a better contrast with the background.
For me, this is almost a perfect game considering it was made in a week. Here are my stats.
Money = Infinite Health = 2xx (infinite) My dmg = 501 Drone dmg = 501 Income = 120x
Bruh, how do people make such polished games in a few days?
This is epic 🔥👌
Yo that's cool ! :D
Even though there is a little disparity in the resolution of the pixel art, gameplay was fun, especially the roguelike aspect !
Good job ! :)
Great game! The Gameplay is fun and the art style is cool(although I think the pixel art is too high-res. You should be going for lower res or a hand drawn style. Now it seems like you couldn't decide between the two and you picked something in the middle of that. And you should keep texel density(I dont know how its called in 2d)in mind) . The Feedback when an enemy gets hit isn't there. Thats really important for the feel of your game. some Particle fx or a flashing enemy would have been great. Second best game I've played on this jam till now
If you have had one day more to polish the game it would have been just perfect. 4/5
yeah for the feedback we wanted to at least have a sound but couldn't implement it in time sadly, we'll definitely fix that post jam (most requested feature for sure!). For the artstyle you're right in the sense that we were looking at both illustration and pixel, we landed on this hi-res pixel art that reminded us of DS games and especially something like Wario Ware. Being raster stuff we targeted a 1080p resolution so having a higher-res screen may result in some more blurred/discontinuous visuals
Love the 2.5D Top down style reminded me of a futuristic Legends of Zelda!
