WOW! I am SO GLAD you were my 20th rating - I probably wouldn't have discovered your game otherwise (with SO many games submitted) And... O....M.....G!!!!! I love it! This isn't usually the type of game I play, but I absolutely loved this!!!!!! The actual swinging of the sword! ? BRILLIANT! I almost quit and came here to ask if it was an unfinished game with no keys, then I notice the tiny little "tab" next to the mask on top of my screen (PS - maybe you had the issue I had last time - you can make your UI elements be the same size regardless of screen resolution. It was hard to see because it was very small on my screen) One suggestion I would make is to put text on the screen when the mask is picked up that says "press tab to use" or something like that. Whoa mama! When I put it on, I died immediately LOL I took it back off and tried "escaping" but they blew me up anyway hahaha I tried a few more times and made it to the boss at the end. Even his sound scared me! 🤣 I eventually made it out and saw the light. Great game. Great use of theme. Great job!!!!

How does you game fit the theme?
The player at first seems to be alone, but once he founds a mysterious mask, he realizes there are entities surrounding him
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I have written ALL of the code for the game, some assets were made by me (mostly sprites) and some were from the unity asset store (credits in the game description)

Nice work with the ethereal plane! I thought there was an issue with the player sprite's facing direction until I found the sword
Right off the bat, pixel art looks amazing!! I also freaking LOVE how you actually have to act like youre swinging your sword by moving the mouse to attack, it really gives a sense of immersion! The whole concept of the mysterious mask is really cool, too. But i feel like killing the enemies is a bit too easy, and the audio could use a bit of work. Overall, amazing game, great job! :D
Incredible top down adventure game!
Pros: great soundscape, cool art style, really awesome base mechanic, unique combat system, good length
Cons: as much as I like the move mouse to attack combat system it felt a tad combersom and I think it could be improved while still keeping it's charm, some of the SFX weren't ver balanced for example the boss's laser attack was extremely loud compared to the ambiance which was very very quiet.
Overall one of the best games I've tried so far, definitely deserves more ratings.

Great job, I love the world toggling at will and feel like this would make a great basis for a full game.
I like the idea with the mask. And combat system is different from other games. My critics: when I wear a mask I can still collide with some objects (especially crates) that are visible without a mask. Graphics are cool, music adds atmosphere. The game fits the theme. I had fun! And if you will be continuing this project in the future, you can add some easter eggs when you destroy crates.
Nice job!
I put a lot of thought into whether you should be able to collide or not with the environment or not, but it seems it troubles a lot of people, my logic was that you would also collide with the ghosts if they weren't.. ghosts, so the furniture is there you just dont see it. But during the testing phase I did feel like it was a bug rather than a feature
Really cool game, I like that enemies telegraph their attacks and the art is really cool.
I think this could have been an in-browser game too.
Good job, I liked the game
It is an amazing game. I like the mysterious mask idea and tabbing to switching between reality and mysterious space. The game length is appropriate. It takes some time for me to discover the mouse is navigating both the facing direction and the sword, and even it shows locked door, I can still press space when I have a key. Boss fight is a plus for this game. The ending screen is a bit simplified when compared to other parts of the game. I hope there may be a change of background music in the boss scene (although switching between reality and mysterious space may make the background music transition annoying), and when the entities casts spell or the boss spawning enemies or attacking, there can be SFXs.
Amazing! I really liked the audio and art assets! The gameplay was also fun and calm.
It was fun i mean really i had a good time playing it. It would need more polishing in some aspects but its great
Pretty nice game! The switching to and from the enemies is nice. Was a bit annoying sometimes though to travel through the world normally to go through the doors, find a locked one and then have to backtrack.
