Hey great game! It was short and sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Nice mechanics. Good art! I'd only suggest making the music a bit louder but it was good.

Tried it out. Very fun. I don't get how people get really good lighting in 2d. I liked the muzzle flash of the guns and kind of that out-in-the-woods campfire glare.

Haha thanks for the comments! I can't take credit myself for the lighting, my team members hit that one on the nail! I had my share of fun on this project tho!

Your project has a sweet mechanic and a "got me in the feels" aesthetic that I think can be enjoyed by all

I did the lighting, basically all of the lights were just Point Lights in Unity with various settings positioned at z = -1. The gun flash had its intensity modified by an animation. All the sprites we applied lighting to (which was basically all of them), had to have a Sprites > Diffuse material. Surprisingly easy once you know how to set it up. I learned those tricks from this Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Unity2D/comments/1wrkv3/can_someone_explain_2d_lighting...

Did you use the URP? (Universal render pipeline). Anyways bravo!

We created this game by keeping in mind of games like " Getting Over It" and " Unfair Mario". So take it as challenge.... This game really breaks the mold to high challenge game! It has a sort of platforming pinball mechanic I haven't seen anywhere before. This game deserves more rates! Thanks for sharing!
