A* pathfinding package imported, all other code and art, music, effects made by me
I really like the pixel art. I love the enemy designs. The sound effects are cool. Most of the attacks are missing sounds. Thanks for making this game!
A cool little cooperative beat 'm up style
Pros: endearing art and characters, cool music, fun use of the theme
Cons: I would have preferred to have a few less characters and enemies and a few more animations if you didn't have time for both, gameplay loop gets a bit boring because of the difficulty scaling, a brief explanation of each weapon/ability would have been nice since I couldn't tell the difference with a few of them if there was one
Overall really fun concept I'd love to see a full game of
I like the concept of the game, some minor bugs which are def. ok for a game jam so won't go into them but not breaking issues found so no worries. Theme fits, lots of variety of creatures and overall fun experience good job!
The characters and swapping system are pretty cool, and I like the variety of monsters. The characters and backstory theme made me think of Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I was able to run through with Sarah to round up enemies, then burn through them with Molly which was surprisingly manageable, maybe because it hit many at once. If this was unintended, maybe the monsters could have a smaller boundary just for the purpose of spacing them out amongst themselves. I know the timeframe for the jam was short and it's a lot of art, but what you have looks really good and I hope you continue to expand on the game!

Was fun to play. Had issue with the money only showing $0 on my screen. If you were to include a use for the money, perhaps buying the better weapons instead of immediately available? IMO also would be nice to move across maps to various levels, and have 1 character down not immediately lose the game (I get its convenient for the game jam period though)! Also, wasnt sure what the wizards other weapon did at all...
Fun game!! The characters were varied as hell, between weapons and skills. Of course I ended up using only 2 the whole time. The pixel art was very good! The only downside is I couldn't find any store or win, at some point I just left myself get killed.

I like the idea of having different characters with different weapons. The game is fun, but some polishing is required.
The game is fun but needs some work on the characters' animations. Fits the theme very well.
Great game I enjoyed it
But I have some points
first there's no animation for run, and when I attack with the first character there's something in my hand don't move
second when I dead and press how to play I can't see anything because it's behind the game over box
also if the font was pixel it would be better
Overall, cool game and great experience
Loved it! Especially the art style and gameplay. It lowkey reminded me of that movie Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. Idk why but it just did lol.
