How does your game fit the theme?
The player starts the game from the beginning every time he dies or the game is completed. Every end is a new beginning!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We made most of the code and use part of the More Mountains top engine asset.

I think the idea behind it was good, but there was a lot going on all at once and I wasn't sure what I was meant to be doing.
Great concept despite the technical flaws in the execution. I really like the idea of controlling a giant robot with a spreadshot blaster in a sea of bullets.
Totally agree! It's like being a boss in a video game, blasting through all those bullets like a pro. Wish the bugs were fixed though; We will work in that direction!
Fun game, but needs more feedback for the player. I was shooting but it wasn't clear what was dying or what progress I was making. Sound effects were super-loud, so perhaps a volume settings dialog?
Hey, thanks for your feedback! We really appreciate it. We'll definitely take your comments on board and work on adding more feedback for the player, so you can see what's happening more clearly. We're also going to look at adjusting the sound effects and adding a volume settings dialog to make sure the game is comfortable to play. Thanks again for playing and for letting us know what you think!
Too much.
The idea is okay, but there is just too much of everything. But if it slowed down and was a bit less of everything, it could be really fun to play.
Yo, thanks for playing the game and for sharing your thoughts! We appreciate it. We totally get what you're saying and we're thinking of ways to tone it down a bit. Maybe we can make the game less overwhelming and more chill. Thanks again for the feedback!
Nice game! Absolute madness lol, in a good way. The only frustrating thing for me was that I couldn't shoot enemies that are very close to me, but hey that just means I should keep my distance!
Hey there! Thanks for playing our game and giving us your feedback! We're glad you had fun with it. We understand that the close-range shooting can be a bit frustrating, but we purposely designed it that way to encourage players to strategize and keep their distance. We'll keep your feedback in mind as we continue to improve the game. Thanks again for playing!
This is a flashy game, but it was quite hard to play, balance and also readability seemed off. I liked the overall feel, but I think it needs some improvments ;-)
Hey, thanks for playing and giving feedback! I'm glad you liked the flashy feel of the game. I totally understand what you mean about the difficulty level and the balance feeling off. We'll definitely work on improving those things. As for readability, can you give us more specific examples of what you found hard to read? We'll do our best to make the necessary improvements. Thanks again!
With readability I meant how easy you grasp what you have to do in the game. I felt pretty lost from time to time as I recall.
The gun not being connected to the robot was not helpful. Would have help you stand out in the battle if you looked different, beside just being bigger, maybe change color of player robot.
Hey, thanks for playing our game and giving us feedback! We agree that it would be helpful if the gun was connected to the robot and that changing the color of the player robot could help make it stand out more. Can you clarify a bit on what you mean by "balance" and "readability" being off? We want to make sure we fully understand your feedback so we can improve the game in the best way possible.
Lots of glitches to resolve, hope you iron them out, because I liked the look of the game.
Well done putting this together in the time frame, hope you continue to work on it after the jam.
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to play our game and providing feedback. Can you give us more details on the type of glitches you found so we can work on fixing them? We're glad you liked the look of the game and we're definitely planning to continue working on it after the jam. Stay tuned for updates!
Wow, you're really thrown into an epic battle, and you start with an epic weapon!
At one item that said spacebar, I hit that a bunch and it looked like you had achievements built in? I think I got one for jumping 10 times. But after the credits window came up on screen, I got stuck behind it and then my gun would only shoot to the right. Even though the action is so heavy it was pretty hard to focus on 'finding robot parts' (not sure I saw any), the intensity of the fighting was actually pretty fun and juicy. I think the location of the gun barrel while swinging it around made it feel a little disconnected from your character.
Head first into some confusing fun.
Hey there, thanks for trying out our game and for the feedback! It's great to hear that you enjoyed the intense battles and the epic weapon. Regarding the issue with the achievements and getting stuck behind the credits window, we apologize for the inconvenience and we'll work on fixing that. As for the robot parts, we'll try to make them more visible. We also appreciate your feedback on the location of the gun barrel, and we'll look into ways to improve that. Thanks again for playing and we hope you'll have even more fun in the future with our game!
Robots with guns. Nuff said. Interesting game. Audio is incredibly loud and the enemies seemed to be super bullet spongey. Nice job though!
Hey there, thanks for playing our game and giving us your feedback! We're glad you found it interesting. We're sorry about the audio being too loud, we'll definitely add a volume control so players can adjust it. As for the enemies being too tough, we'll take a look at balancing the game to make it more fair. Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!
There is a lot to improve like the audio (really loud) and gameplay (too confusing and hard). It’s also not really original. But I guess it’s a nice attempt. I hope to see you improve.
Hi there! Thank you for trying out our game and for taking the time to give us feedback. We appreciate it a lot. We agree that there are some areas that need improvement, such as the audio and gameplay. Could you please tell us more about what was confusing and difficult for you? We would love to hear more so we can work on making the game more enjoyable for everyone. Thanks again for your feedback!
Well, it's quite fun, but the sounds are destroying my ears :D
Hey there, thank you for your feedback! We understand that the sound effects are quite loud and we apologize for that! We're planning on adding an option to adjust the volume in the game settings to make it more comfortable for everyone to play. In the meantime, is there anything else you'd like to see improved or added to the game? We appreciate your thoughts and suggestions!
There are some problems, but I still had fun playing it! Maybe try my game out if you already haven't!
I love the graphics
It has some problems such as loud sound effects, gun being to far from the player, the game puts you in the middle of the action witout any explanation, enemies pin you down to a corner an you cant do nothing and I dont get the link between your game and the theme.
Hey there! Thank you so much for trying out our game and providing feedback. We'll definitely take note of the issues you've mentioned, especially the sound effects and the gun distance. As for the game putting you in the middle of the action without explanation, we were going for a more immersive experience, but we'll see how we can improve on that. About the enemies pinning you down, we'll make sure to adjust their behavior. Regarding the theme, we were trying to convey the idea of assembling a robot by collecting parts throughout the game and once all parts were collected then you could start all over again with the new robo assembly. We understand that it might not have been clear enough, so we'll work on that as well. Thanks again for playing our game and sharing your thoughts!
This game is weird.
Graphics are a mis-match of some random things, it's unclear what the goal is, sounds are kinda loud and all the characters look like... speakers.
And still it's just so freaking fun to play for some reason xD
Hey! Thanks a lot for trying out our game and leaving feedback. We're happy to hear that you found it fun to play despite the issues you mentioned. We're aware of the issues with the graphics and sounds, and we'll be working on improving those in the future. As for the goal, we understand that it may not have been clear and we will fix it in the future releases.
I seen that you said you didn't have much time, so that probably accounted for some of the issues, but the sounds are really oppressive, and one time I spawned out of bounds, and the other time I was instantly pinned by enemies I couldn't shoot because my gun was too far away and I couldn't leave my starting corner. That said, the aesthetics weren't bad and the guns seemed smooth and functional, so given time I imagine you could make a solid top-down shooter.
Hey there! Thank you so much for taking the time to play our game and providing feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the aesthetics and the gun mechanics. We definitely had some time constraints, so we appreciate your understanding. We're sorry to hear that you experienced issues with the sounds and spawning, as well as feeling trapped by enemies. We'll work on addressing these issues and making the game more enjoyable for players. Thanks again for your feedback, it means a lot to us!
honestly, I launched the game, I didn't understand anything, and the super loud sound forced me to stop playing, I would have liked to try to play, the drawings are still nice!
Hey there! Thank you so much for giving our game a try and for your honest feedback! We're sorry that the sound levels were too loud for you and that it made it difficult to continue playing. We will definitely take note of this and make sure to adjust the sound levels for the next update so that it's more enjoyable for everyone. We're also glad that you liked the drawings, and we hope that you'll give our game another try once we've made some improvements!
