This game is cool. I love how your bullets act as double-edged swords, harming both your enemies and your submarine. It adds a strategic twist to the game! You can bounce projectiles off the walls to attack enemies from different angles. Keep up the great work mate!

Hi chrony, thanks for checking us out!

Really well crafted game! 5/5

The bouncing bullets added a lot of fun without being to hard to dodge and the choices felt nice over all.

The only feedback I can think of is to make the effect of the choices more obvious (e.g. increasing damage migh change the color and or size of the bullet in some way), even though I understand that it might be hard to automate unless you set a maximum powerups of a given type.

Great job!

Thank you so much for your feedback.

Special bullets power ups evolves into homing, healing, explosive but other powerups(Stats powerups) such as bullet damage, speed apply to all the player projectiles irrespective of types so we didn't show it.

But your suggestion sounds good, will playtest and let you know how it feels. Thanks again.

I really like the name lol. The idea of your own bullets being able to hurt you is pretty interesting; it really makes you carefully conciser your shots. There was some noticeable stuttering when enemies spawned, so maybe try preallocating them before the level start. Other than that no bugs or issues; great job!

Developer(+1)

Hey TerraReef, thank you kindly for leaving us with some awesome feedback! We're happy you enjoyed our game. I'll be sure to relay your comments to our dev team right away.  ✨️

Developer(+2)

That's interesting the stuttering happened to you. The enemies and projectiles are all pre-instantiated in a memory pool (I used Extenject's memory pool with my DI framework in the project). Sorry to hear that happened, I'll have to do some more profiling :D

Either way, thank you so much for checking out our game!

Ah, it could also be some quark with Wine. I'm on Linux, so it might be running a bit worse.

Developer

Oh I see. Yeah that could also be it, to be honest I don't have much experience running compatibility layers on Linux. I'm sure there's more people that play games for here on Linux so I will have to add that to testing for future projects!

I have won ! (including in hard mode).

The game is fun. The boss looks super cool and the overall game looks consistent, the speeds of everything feel right and the game is punchy. I really like the boucing bullet mechanic, the boss fight is cool with 3 interesting phases and the difficulty is right on point in hard mode.

That's a cool entry, thanks for sharing.
