Really fun game. Everything's well put together, from the visuals to the audio and even the loop feels really nice. The implementation of the theme is really neat too! If i had anything to say, I think the feedback when you get hit isn't particularly great and the audio mixing leaves something to be desired. Other than that good job!

this is definitely a hidden gem. The core loop is simple and polished, the upgrades at the start of the game plus the ability to choose how much life you had made it really easy to get into. The art style is gorgeous.
I do have a few minor nitpicks, but these are minor - things to think about for a full release:

The bad news is I don't have a physical mouse, just a touchpad, but the good news is I was still able to make do by just leaving the cursor at the center of the stage (and honestly that probably helps in that it's one less thing to worry about lol) but I had fun with it. Played up to the ghost stage, before my finger started cramping from the touchpad button. Only thing I can suggest is maybe a brief in-game tutorial that just shows the controls and possibly something showing that you can hold to continuously fire without having to repeatedly click. I also couldn't find a way to exit the game outside of good old alt/f4.

Everything was really well put together and I like how each stage changed things up. Turns out I'm not very good at dodging ghosts lol. Keep it up!

The music, sfx and art are phenomenal, I would turn down the camera shake and the zoom on attacks a bit, cause it gets pretty desorienting after a while. Still I really enjoyed this game, and the music was a straight up bop. Size of the game is pretty large though, it took me a while to download, make sure to compress all the sounds at least a bit, it shouldn't really affect the quality
Yeah the game is large. We already compressed the sounds to OGG Vorbis tho, it's just that there is many sounds. Like variations for each sounds to avoid sfx spamming, and different reverbs for each level etc...
Shooting feels good, the mood and atmosphere is great, OST is incredeble - interesting coorporation of the theme. Only thing: SE could be more present and better player feedback when you get hit.
