Interesting concept with some nice visuals. The way it controls probably needs a bit of adjustment but it still plays okay. I would like to see more of the style and markings in places.

Visuals for this are really cool. The movement difference between light and dark is really cool, but it took me way too long to figure it out. A little tooltip in the menu or something would be nice. Some of the jumps needed in the dark zone were so narrow it looked like you weren’t supposed to do them (especially thinking of that right most bit in the first level). I definitely think this is a cool concept, though.
(Copied comment from the duplicate game page) The game conceptually is very good. The animations seem a bit snappy and at times, the character freezes in an unexpected pose. Some walls can be scaled and some can not and there should be some visual distinction indicating this fact. Technically, some work may be required but it is an awesome game overall. I would love to see updates for this game in the future :D
Really good, especially considering this is for a game jam. I did manage to somehow end up in a state where the player would get stuck in a wrong pose, and for some reason the jump button stopped working a few times. If you continue working on this I'd say just iron out the control issues and perhaps some smoother animations. But again, the concept is great, and the overall visuals are really good too. Nice entry!
finished the game! It's pretty fun maneuvering inside the dark areas, and with the dash gives me a sense of freedom in the movement. though there's some visual glitches (like the player sprite not changing after I'm done clinging to a wall) and a difficulty in wall jumping (which could be polished a bit more), I really love the level design, especially the part where there's a hidden lumen, like how there was a subtle hints by how the platforms and the dark zones are positioned.
The game is fun and original, but the controls could be improved and there were some glitches here and there. The idea is good, and it has potential to be a more rounded game if you keep working on it :)
Fun game! I really loved the flame mechanic, it's really satisfying to jump into the dark areas and defy gravity! The art is nice! I think it could have done with showing which walls you can jump off of and which you can't, sometimes the black walls were climbable sometimes not. I also got stuck on level 4 or 5 (lots of moving platforms!), I couldn't find the 3rd flame, I've searched everywhere! It's a shame 'cos I was really enjoying it, I loved exploring and the flying around :D Well done! :D EDIT: level 7 I got stuck on, I think. 70 sec to start with, diagonal dark line at the beginning!
Thank you for your message and constructive feedback! We are working on improving the points you talked about. I believe one of the flames in level 4-5 is actually hidden behind a wall at the very right part of the scene. We'll do our best to make the gameplay and puzzle a bit clearer to the player. We hope to release an improved version of the game soon enough :D
Nice work and I've made myself to the end.
This game has rich levels and professional design. Though the controling system is a bit problematic as well as some bugs in animation, its gameplay is no doubt outstanding.
Overall pretty good game! The movement seemed a bit.. odd? But the levels were creative and built upon each other pretty well. Solid work!
I like the ideea and the graphics. Took me a bit of time to figure out that i turn into a shadow when i walk in the darker area and also got a bit stuck on the third level. Also, sometimes the animation transition really quickly and it looks a bit wierd and glitchy.
Well I have only 32bit PC so I couldn't play it. But I try my best to rate it by the screenshots!
The visuals are quite impressive and look cool but I think the leveldesign looks a bit to similar. You could add a bit varation to the background for example with a stone pattern or other things.
But thats complaining at the highest level!
I can't comment on the music, game design, ... but I know that making a platformer is really hard so you can be really glad to finished it (bzw. the prototype). Well done guys! :)
Solid piece of work. The graphics follow a coherent theme, and there's a decent amount of good looking animation for such a short project.
There's room for improvement when it comes to movement physics, they didn't feel "right" for me and it was sometimes hard to predict where the character would end up.
Also it was hard to get a proper walljump off, it wasn't clear to me when my character will bounce off a wall, and when will she stay on it.
Another minor thing is a how harsh and unbalanced the SFX were. Unity's audio mixer could help out a bit with levels and basic EQing, I'd wager.
Good effort, overall. Kudos for making a complete game!
Hello and thank you for your message! We are taking notes of your feedback that includes some issues we had also noticed and some others that have been highlighted by other players. The feedback truly helps us make this game better, we already started working on improving it and are planning on also improving the graphics and animations. We'll definitely also look into the sound management to make the overall experience better :)
I enjoyed this. As others have said, I loved the visuals and menu aesthetic, and the floating flame mechanic was pretty cool. The human wall jumping was a little finicky at times, though, and I never felt like I truly understood how it worked.
Incredible piece of work for such a short amount of time. From animations to sounds, mechanics and overall feel of the game, it feels like an experience. One of the first game jam submissions that felt like an almost finished product. DO NOT stop working on this game at any cost, you must finish it and I will buy it from you guys. For the team that created this unfinished gem, you will go far if you keep on this road. Best of luck!
Thank you SO MUCH for this very kind and very motivating message, we are definitely not stopping there. We are currently regrouping all the feedback we can get to improve the game and already started fixing some of the bugs and making the gameplay more intuitive. We plan on improving quite a few aspects of it (e.g. The graphics) and adding more content.
Again, thank you!
Nice idea and character design! Love the turning into a floating flame. I agree with the previous comment on the high difficulty... I got to the third level and gave up since I had no idea what I was supposed to do there. It's a bit confusing that sometimes when the player is in the human form seems to be floating too, but I'm not sure how to trigger that exactly, so I couldn't really control it. I didn't rate the visuals higher because I would have loved to see a bit more developed backgrounds, the character is so strong that I feel it needs a matching environment. Good work!
Hello and thank you for your feedback! As previously said, we are working on fixing the glitches and we are planning on making the first level easier and more intuitive. Since we have more time now, we'll be able to make sure the next version of the game is a lot more stable and that the graphics are more polished (animations included)
I loved the visual of the menu...the player was so good...but I really really tried so much to pass to another platform and this is hard at the beginning of the game....If I can suggest...try to improve the difficulty of distant platforms along with the game, not in the beginning...because at the beginning we want to learn how the game works...And I learned some things...in the light the player is in the humanoid form...at dark it is a flame form and goes up...but when the player is on top of the level, is so hard to calculate where to go...I hope you can improve more your game to make it stunning because I love the character and the mechanic of change form and gravity
When you have time. Please play my game and rate it too.

I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals and theme we set for this game. We are taking your feedback into account to improve the game and its playability. We'll try to make sure the level is clearer to the player and the first levels are a bit more simple to get used to the mechanics. We already started working on some improvements!
Thank you for your comment :)
