The environment and presentation is polished enough as a horror game. Nonetheless, as other people pointed out, the one type of enemy made it a bit bland, and the melee combat could use some work such as adding a small knockback.
And this is just my personal preference, it's better to carefully craft levels the incorporates mechanics rather than just let rng do the work.

This one feels like a "real" game, if you know what I mean. Extremely polished/finished-looking, and I loved seeing the map generate itself when the level loaded. I made it to the second floor, but gave up after getting killed by skulls. It was difficult to tell what the knife's range was. It would have been nice to have a gun with limited ammo or something to deal with them, rather than having to just avoid them (at least, I couldn't fight them, but maybe someone more skilled could). Still, this was a pretty incredible piece of work for only a week! Great job!!

The biggest horror aspect to this game is youre given a knife instead of a gun, cmon I cant stab skulls in the face I need to shoot them!

Simple to a fault. Within the few minutes I played I managed to side strafe to gain extra speed. Discovered that enemies like to stack on each other and scatter when touched or just instantly kill you. Plus there is no point in going beyond the first level other than seeing how far you can go or using your weapon. (Looks pretty neat tho)

So, the theme has a horror like feel, but it's not scary. It's a dungeon crawler. In terms of fun, its pretty repetitive, with there being only 1 type of enemy, and the combat is mediocre. The game looks really cool though, I like the knife texture and the environment. It's fun at first, but gets dry fast. Overall a solid game though!

Theme: Dungeon crawler, not really Horror

Fun: Kind of repeatable, jumpscared me a couple of times when enemies rushed me

Game Design: Attack range is too short, enemies konga line at you and you can't really defend yourself. Other than that, a pretty standard dungeon crawl. It was surprising there was always just one room of monsters per floor - maybe that should be adjusted to make combat more mandatory, after the combat fixes.

ok so, is it a horror game? yes, it is, but not very scary. is it fun? not really, its very dull and repetative and attacking the sculls really doesent do anything good so runnig from them is the best option by far, you just kinda look for the ladder and go to the next floor, thats it. now gamedesighn is solid but could be better, the systems work well together but as a whole its kinda meh. now the good things: i love the art style, and the fact its randomly generated. all in all really good!
