I gotta agree with Nibble, last move based hitbox is awkward to control. camera zooms in/out for different areas and makes judging the hitbox even harder. Character also needs more variety of abilities for a beat em up
Solid all-around game. My main nitpick is that mouse controls for attacking that don’t track mouse position relative to the character, makes it feel really awkward to play though.

Noted an odd issue with getting stuck on the hedges and glitching a bit as the character tried to move while trapped in one place. Noticed an interesting choice in the combat in that the attacks were angled in the direction the character was moving, not the way the mouse was pointed, which made combat a bit tricky. The combat was easy at the start, with the basic thugs, but accidentally pulling more than one green flying guy is a death sentence. The fact that you gave them names specifically to flip the script and have eldritch names on later enemies is really good, I liked that quite a bit. A fun little game with a few janky errors that could pretty easily get cleaned up in post - oh, and it could use some music. Overall pretty good, though!
Thank you!
I was initially thinking, actually, that it would be a four-direction thing, like older Zeldas. I didn't really even think to try making it match the mouse. Looks like that was a mistake, since a lot of people wanted the attack to come out pointing at the mouse. :P
I get stuck on the walls if I touch them. Never seen that with colliders before, did you use a game engine to make this?
I used Unity. I had a friend tell me that that was happening and I thought, "That doesn't seem like a big issue!" Looks like I was wrong; multiple people have mentioned it (oops)
ok so first of all is it a horror game? no. is it fun? no, the high pitched sound hurts my ears even more then my own game does (thats impressive) and the combat is not enjoyable and too dificult. Game design wise i like the idea but the execution isnt too good, the pixel art is very good tho, so good job!
Cool game!
I didn't finish it though... I couldn't get past the flying green guys. It's kinda weird to have him attack in the direction he's moving, when the attack button is the mouse click. I'd prefer if he looked the way my mouse was pointing.
And the enemies have a bigger reach than I do, so combat works in their favour.
Also, it easy to get stuck on the walls for some reason :/
Didn't realy see the HORROR aspect of the game.
The hitboxes and physics were a bit janky. I would have to have the enemys above me to hit them. I didn't get to much fun out of the game, but I wasn't able to ge to the end as I couldn't right click to use the reaper on the chromebook I'm using.
The art and animations were good but I didn't find the game to be very interesting, I think balancing was an issue with the game, but maybe that's just because the hitboxes weren't very good.
Nice job submitting a game though! Out of around 250 people who signed up only around 40 people submitted there games so congrats on being one of them!
Theme: Not a horror, more like a 2D brawler
Fun: hit boxes aren't the best, combat is janky, enemies don't have pathing and have a higher range than you
Game Design: Really liked the pixel art, but the game itself isn't too fair or good. Would need remaking the code and balancing.
