Really great game, the sound was really good, i like the movement and the art was on point.

Developer

Thank you!! We put a lot of effort into de art and the music. The gameplay could and WILL be better, tho.

The start cutscene is realy good.

Very good game. I played for a while, quite challenging but very engaging. If you would ask me for suggestions maybe Id say that would be nice to be able to check somehow so I did not have to take a leap of faith right into the mean mushroom  head in the area right before the fire :D, other than that I loved pretty much everything about it. Good job and I loved the contrast of the intro and the actual game. Very different but both very cool.

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah, you're absolutely right. We've talked about it and we'll deffinitely make the camera show more of the map for our next games. The one in here was kind of bad, specially considering you could jump and get killed by a mosquito while falling, without being able to know whether it would hit you or not. Same with spikes. Thanks for the feedback!

I love the combination of 2D and 3D graphics. I feel like it should have some kind of mining mechanic.

Developer

That would've probably been cool. I did the 2d art and a friend did the 3d. I think its a very nice combination, tho there are some mixed opinions about that. Other people think we should've sticked to one of the two. Thanks for commenting!

I really like the graphics of the game

It's exactly the same version. We are sorry we forgot to include the mac version in the main page!

Very well made! I especially love the artstyle!

Thank you!!

There is no download that works on mac even though it says that there is, have I done something wrong?

Developer

Honestly I don't know. When you build the game on Unity, it says "PC, Mac & Linux Standalone". I guess it should work fine for mac? I don't have a mac so can't really check if it works. If you know where the issue could be let me know and i'll fix it for you!

Developer

Hello! We fixed the issue. Here is the mac version for you

This game has fluid game play and beautiful design. I LOVE IT!!!

The graphics and soundtrack are impressively done and the controls are nice and intuitive. I got through to the credits a few times.

I really liked the stylized low-poly in the opening.

The game have a beautiful graphics and the music is pretty good. But i'm stuck on mushroom stage, every time i die for that mushroom on the cave >:c and the camera can maybe little confuse, i took a pain head with that camera. But the game is really nice ;) good job

Developer

Thank you so much for commenting!! you just have to jump without sprinting and you'll pass the mushroom. Have a great week!

This game was soo tranquil, yet unnerving; i was constantly on edge at every turn. The music helped create a great atmosphere. The mix of low-poly and 8-bit styles was confusing :P Also the I spent too long on the mushroom level, maybe adjust the difficulty given its only the third level. Overall: good game

Developer

That means a lot to our friend who did the music! He had to learn how to do soundtracks from the start. He didn't know a thing. I'm sure he'll be happy to hear that. Thank you!

Well done, great game

Hey, THANK YOU!! We worked really hard, specially on the art and the music. Hearing those words mean a lot to us.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll definitely try to focus more on the gameplay for the next jam!

This game is definitely beautiful. The opening cutscene was pretty cool! The art is great, and the graphics are great. The gameplay itself is a little lacking considering it's just jumping puzzles, and the far away respawn made this frustrating at times. After dying on the mushroom level many times, I decided to stop. I think the game could benefit from a shorter level structure with checkpoints, so you don't find yourself going over the same obstacles so many times. Also- that first credits pop-up was excellent.

Thank you SO MUCH! We really appreciate your comment. It's very helpful to hear these opinions. People like you help us improve in every game jam we do!

Nice Game !

I love the soundtrack and the art but mix up pixel art and low-poly, I don't think it was a good choice, but it's yours.  Another thing, in the begining, I though that the game is a low-poly game and I'm a little disappointed.

Developer

Well, I guess the game lied to you there :)

I think :D too

The fact that the player was so much towards the edge of the screen and the camera switching so fast made the experience a bit annoying :/ Also, that you need to start walking to start sprinting and that you can't load the sprint pre-start made the gameplay a bit annoying too. But the audio and the graphics were seriously outstanding, although I was expecting more of a low-poly game from the beginning and the pixelart kinda shocked me hehe. Good game overall, but the experience could have been improved a bit :)

Developer

Thanks for commenting! Art and music guys here. We loved your reaction. We kinda did the low poly thing because 1. it looked damn good and 2. it would trick people into thinking the game was low poly. We wanted to put some little lie in there haha
