They didn't. the kid fell through an interdimensional wormhole and grew up on earth to be some person named "Vikriti 🥝" They're probably cool tho.
The sprites look too similar to each other so its hard to tell what item you’re looking for. And The text is a bit hard to read. But a really fun game otherwise.

Thank you for playing. I agree, the art is a little wonky, and the controls are wierd cause I challenged myself to keep the controls as simple as I could imagine(only using 4 direction buttons), Thank you for the feedback.
Any of yall who are interested in the creation of the PA callouts that periodically play to spice up the game, they were made by me and my friends, and were a lot of fun lol. It's personally my excuse to not put any music in.

I really liked the idea; the mechanics are interesting. They’re not very common, so to speak, but they’re fun to explore. I can imagine a 3D or even 2D version of a clumsy little “hand” trying to grab things and knocking everything over, something like Octodad or Hand Simulator. In the hallway, there could be obstacles or greater distances between shelves to allow for more movement and a sense of running through the environment. Either way, congratulations on the game!
