This is pretty cool! that fly is so hard to hit.  nice take on the theme!! congrats on using gameplay for the theme.

You made it super satisfying to click to smash the bugs, and the art is very charming. For a post-jam version, as others pointed out, you might want to rework the hitboxes. It’s too easy to kill your own bees while it’s too difficult to hit the enemy bugs, which move faster and more chaotically. I would also recommend fleshing out the gameplay mechanics by adding, for instance, passive abilities (like a shield to your bees) and perhaps tower defense elements, like being able to place a carnivorous plant that attracts and eats enemy insects, or something that shoots against your enemies every few seconds. I just hope that’s not how you actually take care of your bees, it seems exhausting!
Props on finding a cool and fun way to honor your father’s memory <3

The game looks good, but I think that the collision polygons should be adjusted because it's too hard to hit anything aside for your bees, that will never fail! :-D

About your real life story, I think it's really nice. The fact that you decided to carry over the passion of your father is great, especially in these times where people don't have much chances to pass down to the next generation their art and skills. It's also great that you continue to keep bees alive, fighting the system that want to get rid of them, like recently happens in Australia.

Going back to the game, the mechanic is simple, but the whole setting is nice and game acquires a different flavour thanks to the visual you have created. Well done!

Thanks for the comments.I have already modified the collision polygons and slowed down the enemy speed a bit. In the next version of the game I will add more enemies and collecting special bonuses.

I think it's very cool that you made a game inspired by your real life.  Plus, beekeeping is very cool and admirable.  I enjoyed this game, even if I wasn't very good at it (I have terrible reaction times).  I do wish there was a bit more to do other than just smack bad bugs, but still, I thought it was very good.

Thank you for your comment. In the future I would like to add special bonuses in the game and buy upgrades for collected points.

The game looks great, and the music really fits the atmosphere. The sound effects are well-chosen and add a lot to the experience. The fast gray bees, however, can be tricky to hit—sometimes it feels like the hits don’t register at all.

I also wanted to ask about the story: is it actually about your father passing away? If so, I’m very sorry for your loss, and I think it’s admirable that you created a game inspired by that experience.

Thank you for your comment. Yes story is true. Here is my bee farm.

How many bees are there this is big dude!

In May there are about 40 to 60 thousand in one hive. Now I have 20 hives . That is rounded 1.000.000 :)

Thank you for your comments. In the future I want to work on the game further and add more parts. You can gain additional lives each round. The game is about protecting the bees , so they have to stay on the screen :)

Cute bees and nice attention to detail with the additional animations.
The gameplay lacks a bit of depth and I don't fully see the theme represented in it. Good entry though!

About the topic. As I wrote in the description of the game. There was a situation in my life where my father died. And I had a very TOUGH CHOICE whether to continue beekeeping after him. Maybe it's not exactly the theme of the game but it's the theme of my life :) And so I started to take care of bees and I made a game about bees.
