We thought of making a detective game, where you cant go back to interview people, so each question is a tough choice.

Did you use any third party assets like art or music? If so, which ones?
My cousin used Bosca Ceoil for music and sound effects, and I used my tablet for the art

What an endearing and funny little experience! It was almost like reading a children’s book with a wicked twist. Adding more chapters, and perhaps making the pig an actual detective to solve different cases in other scenarios would be a way of expanding and improving it post-jam, if you’re looking to keep working on it. Awesome job!

Nice game, I can see a future for it as game played by children on a tablet with different cases to investigate and teaching a good morale to kids at the end of each story. Well done!

Unfortunately the font didn't work well for me, as I am sure one of my font is doing too in my game, and I couldn't read the whole story at the end of the game, after have guessed right who stole the crops. So now I am curious to know what was written, but I hope people will not read your eventual comment so there will not be spoilers for them.

Nice game, congratulations! :-)

Very cool art style and certainly a tough decision as to who to kick. Very nice, good work!

This is a cute little game. Nice work. I found the art charming and the story was lovely.

Cheers!

Good luck with the jam

Kudos for doing it all by yourself. Consistency in art and fonts wouldnt hurt but overall its a nice game. Character should stop quicker. After kicking Marry im gonna go hang out with the frog at the river. At least he likes me.

Developer

there was a nice font, but I guess I dont know how to make them work when exporting the game, sorry

also, my cousin DairyKing made all the music, give him credit he did an amazing job

First, I love the look of this game.  It's all so charming.  I also love a good detective story.  So, impressed you were able to do all this in two weeks.  Very well done.

Your game is incredibly well-presented! The art style is fantastic and I really appreciate the ability to choose which questions to ask and form my own suspicions about the culprit

danku, hehe...

Loved it, fits well with the theme and has got a really good artsyle and music, making it very cozy overall! The moviments were a bit clunky and sometimes the pig stopped while i was walking, but the paper mario-like flipping animation was incredible, fitting very well with the style of the game!

yooo, I loved the game you made, thanks for your kind words! I poured my soul into that art

No problem ahah, thank you so much also for enjoying my game too!

You just called me a jerk :P. The game is fun, especially the pig-flipping mechanic. The story at the beginning is okay. Here’s a tip: use better fonts so it’s more immersive with the rest—like the mask of the book. Also, the frog playing guitar is a cool touch; you could fade the music in and out as players get closer.

The font worked half of the time for some reason , and I did try to fade the frogs music, but it was too frustrating to figure out for me, and it wasn’t that important compared to the art

I don't know English well, but this goat clearly has bad thoughts

I love the sketchy artstyle and cute and well written characters. Fits the theme well too!

The font also didn't work for me, make sure to include the font in the project files and also select it in the second drop down on the text objects font picker.

I was trying to figure out how to make the font work, but what I googled did not help me at all…
