This is fun and well-executed!

Never got used to the controls and the isometric movement. But i don't know what i'd have differently!

The art and sound were great, but like others, I kind of couldn't get used to the movement, I managed to play for a while though, just kept messing up which way I wanted to move to xD

Gameplay is excelent, really feel good ol' arcade game !

Very cool. I liked the strategy aspect of it and the cute looks of the animals. First try score was 053.

I have to second that the controls are a bit tricky I often found myself going on tiles I didn't mean to. And the roar-sound when you defeat an animal kind of threw me, but that's just personal preference.

Overall a wonderful submission!

Cool concept, but controls are not quite intuitive, always missed right and up. Even so I really enjoyed playing it.
Good job!

Very cute game! The strategy idea is fun, and I really liked all the art, SFX, and music. Like others have previously mentioned, I had a hard time getting used to using WASD for an isometric movement grid, but the other aspects bring a lot of satisfaction to the gameplay!

Super cute game, fun to play, the music actually makes it feel cozy.

Loved the concept, nice throwback feel,  good work.  Maybe add some acorns or something to collect in between killing all the other animals?

Movement was difficult to get used to but its a great game. I like all the different animals and the different attacks based on the food thrown.

Thank you for playing! What part of the movement was difficult to get used to?

I'm used to WASD as go up/left/down/right which doesn't translate well to isometric where its all diagonal movements

I Liked the artwork, music an sound but found the movement a little bit confusing...

Developer

Hello, thanks for playing! What part of the movement is confusing for you? is it how the character moves or throws?

Submitted(+1)

It is because the playing field is not straight but slightly turned around. When I pressed "A" for me it felt like moving away from the camera, so in my thinking you should have to press "W" to move away. So the controls should have been swaped beetween left/rigth and up down. But maybe thats just my problem and way of seeing it....

Fun little game with cute visuals! Only the movement was a bit hard to get used to.

Also: the soup throw is overpowered, loved it

Thanks for playing! What part of the movement was hard to get used to?

It was a bit hard for me to grasp that the movement I do on the keyboard doesnt match what I see. Like down wasn't immediately down. Maybe im just bad xd
