Impressive that you made a multiplayer game for a jam.
I played some solo games, including an Hunter one which went kind of OK. We might play a two player one with my team counterpart at some point.
You've got plenty of animation here, dealing with early 3d can be rough, you're not sure the result will be good so good job for succeeding in making it good.
Very ambitious project and it works I intended, I like that, congratulations.
There are so many games with interesting visuals on this jam! And yours is definitely one of them. How did you achieve such a ps1 effect? There is even a nice frame tearing in the frames of moving objects, like an image on an old TV.
Hey, I checked your game :)
Overall, a nice, different experience and approach on dungeon crawling :)
Cool that this is multiplayer =). I played a few matches with a friend, however he never managed to survive the first room he started in, so the matches never got particularly far. Just to ease the already difficult situation of arranging multiplayer, it'd be great if he could re-join a match in progress instead of having to wait for a new one, though that'd take some other changes to the gameplay, I guess ^_^.
Nice game, I liked it, the multiplayer fact is so cool! Congratulations !
This was a very impressive entry for a 7 day jam. Multiplayer? Wow!
In the browser, there seemed to be some graphical issues but ran great on the Windows version.
Movement felt very awkward and slow, but I’m assuming that was part of the Multiplayer experience to keep people from zooming through the map?
The audio was really nice and the 3D models were the nice kind of low poly.
Overall, great work!
I applaud you for the multiplayer part but tested it singleplayer. Liked the audio, also the graphics but sometimes it was too dark for me and would have liked more variety in the environment. Movement felt slow. Didn't get very far I think.
Wow. Multiplayer! That was an ambitious goal that you pulled off amazingly well, even in WebGL. You've really raised the dungeon crawler bar there. The graphics had some scaling problems so we couldn't quite work out where we were in relation to enemies or the environment. The camera angle wasn't the classic dungeon crawler so you might get some comments about that (we did last year!). The real downside was how brutally difficult it was. We joined as a team and only managed to kill one enemy between us and had no health at the end of it.
Now, those keyboard bindings... WASD to move, QE to rotate, are the standard and everyone's muscle memory is built around that. Is this a French keyboard thing? We may have been able to get further into the game had these been what we were expecting them to be.
As for the theme, maybe the duality should just have been that it was two player?
Amazing effort on this, you should be really proud of what you've accomplished, especially in a week. Keep going on your game development journey, we look forward to playing your future games.
thanks for the feedback! its my first dungeon crawler so i knew the controller might not be up to standard.
as for difficulty, it is quite difficult but unfortunately cant change that at this moment, but you have health potions and move to dodge to combat that!
Good complex project, well done! Great to have many classes with unique skills to chose from. I also like the retro art:) Though i had a problem with input response speed. I think it would be cool if you could make the input response faster with attacking, blocking and move. There are a lot of enemies fighting in real time, so player would have greater sense of influence on the combat outcome with faster inputs.
It looks good, plays good, and sounds great... besides the them not being followed as i couldn't see any duality... on separate note HOW THE HELL DID U GET MULTIPLAYER WORKING!
but yea more in depth, this feels more multiplayer focused, and when i tried singleplayer the difficulty felt ridicously high, of course im probably just being bad, overall good game
Impressed
Your game looks gorgeous! I love the music, too. I had some trouble with the controls, WASD + 1-4 make it hard to use a skill while moving, and the slow cooldown got me killed more than once.
Looks awesome, love the look of the characters and enemies
Lighting is pretty busted for me but the character variety is really nice
Impressive that were able to pull this off!
It seems hard to make a multiplayer game work in a gamejam context.

Very nice Dark and Darker clone. ;) I've wanted to make a similar game myself, but without any PvP or login aspects. Only played the browser version which has some audio bugs, but otherwise great job!
