This is a nice game with enjoyable graphics and combat style.
Though I've unfortunately been unable to complete the game because of a bug which made the game freeze for no reason entirely randomly. I don't know if I'm the only who suffered such a problem...
It's a pity because I really wanted to play it fully, may it be fixed soon after the jam!
Cool game. The environments looked great, and I really liked the isometric combat style combat style.
I accidentally skipped a lot of dialogue since they usually popped up when I was in the middle of spamming my way down a corridor.
And ran into quite few glitches, like a corner in the card room where I got stuck, or side stepping out of the living quarters corridor.
I will definitely play more of this when it's fixed, what works (environment, the story bits, movement, the first fight) is really promising.
The aesthetic feels very consistent, and I really appreciate the extensive use of objects and environmental details to make the area easy to navigate!
The sequence of things I needed to click to actually attack in combat threw me a bit; I ended a few turns early before I figured out what to do, though once I did the combat system seemed clear enough - at least for the combats I could access in this build.
Best of luck with the game post-jam!
Thanks! We are hoping to fix the bugs next week (we didn’t have any time to work on it this week) which should unlock all the combats and the remaining levels of the game.
FYI: the game doesn't appear to work with the itch.io client. Maybe you need to click the windows option beside the game file on your game page. Thought you should know.
Update: I downloaded and played it. Looks great. I like the crisp movement. The asset packs are well chosen.
I might have gotten stuck in some geometry at some point. The game hard-locked on me for no apparent reason.
Switching from dungeon crawler to tactics feels a little weird, but its nice that the first person and isometric rooms appear to have similar layout.
Thanks for the feedback, I’ve updated the itch submission page by checking the windows icon as you suggested.
We are aware of a couple of (sadly) game-breaking bugs in the final build, but time was against us. Hopefully you’ll check back once the jam has ended and we have an updated version available.
The ideal for us will be to have a panning camera transition to the combat view, so that things don’t feel jarring, and to update the combat UI to have both a tutorial and the same look/feel as the exploration UI.
A Camera panning transition would be amazing.
Very cool game. The graphics and atmosphere are really good. Love the combat that is really well made! Will definetly play again when more levels are released!

I really liked the atmosphere and level design. I wanted to spend more time in the world, but I kept encountering a game-breaking bug. Sometimes I would stop being able to move or rotate; unfortunately, it meant I had to restart the game and lose my progress every time that happened.
However, what I got to see was really promising!
Thanks! Hopefully we will have a fixed version uploaded after the jam judging ends.
Really nice graphics and level design. The music is good but doesn't loop for me.
Too bad about the combat bug as I want to play more of this game and the world needs more sci-fi crawlers. I hope you finish this post-jam :)
The movement and rotation works well for me and the perspective is spot on! I do wish I could use arrow keys and/or numpad though.
I random clicked on a wall and it froze.
Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely finish it post-jam, possibly even add more content to it once the engine is in good working order.
Love the scifi theme, art + music is really good. Combat was a pretty confusing without a tutorial but what's here is very promising
Thanks! The in-game combat tutorial was something that got eaten by the time-crunch monster!
