Very cool idea, I like the Mario/Bubble Bobble feel. Needs some music and got stuck when they all clumped together on the three right strawberries, the SFX got a little loud, but I had fun knocking out the pests and jumping and flying. good job on multiple character positioning.

Love the artstyle!! It's definitely my favorite part of this game.

The movement, platforming, controls, all felt pretty good to me. I do wish I could handle the amount of enemies a bit better though! It seems like the enemies sort of will just win no matter how good I might be at the game, which probably shouldn't be the case.

Overall, for a gamejam especially, this is really well done! Good work

The graphics are nice, but the controls are pretty bad. The amount of enemies is also too large I think, you cant ever kill them before they get some damage on your fruits. I feel like this game would have better been served if you leaned into the flying aspect of the main charakter, flying feels great and it has a great animation, but there is no reason to fly because all the enemies will come down to attack your fruits and you have to stay down to pretect them.

Yeah I absolutely agree. I got caught up in the animating and barely had time to throw it all together. The enemies were definitely supposed to have a lot more to them with a lot more in the air. I made the second enemy and BS'd a wave spawner in the very last hour T-T

Hey that's jammin though! Thanks for your honest feedback. & I appreciate that ya like the animations! I'm stoked to make a nice little post jam version of this soon. Our gameplan was for the enemies to be a lot slower and more methodical. Setting up little breeding grounds, some only flying and spawning smaller ones. We also wanted to have a mechanic where you could heal the fruits back up. All kinds of stuff lol. Is what is is though!

Lovely art and cool idea also the animations are sooo crisp.

Thank you I really appreciate ya saying so! Got carried away with the art, so I'm glad we ended up with enough of a game to use it haha

I love the art. So cute 😄

Nice artstyle and the gameplay was fun. I figured out that after losing for sure 3 fruits, I could just camp on top of the last one and kill everything that came close, making me play indefinitely without the game ending. I really liked the multiple jumps that transformed into flying, really nice mechanic. Well done, good job!

Haha I really wish we had more time to flesh out the gameplay. I'm just thrilled that it's playable!

Really appreciate your comment, thank you! I'm super happy with how the character turned out. I was wanting the gameplay to make better use of her fluttering around, but with the enemies there, it's super ground based. Ah well, post jam version inspiration for sure!

I liked the cute artsyle. It conveys the jam's theme very well. The gameplay reminds me of classic arcade games!
