I really like the cute little box that comes out, it caught me off guard when I did it when trying to jump. I like how agile I feel when being the little guy and how I use these two characters to traverse through the levels. With some music and maybe some tutorial text it could be really fun!
cool idea for the theme! I like how the player characters squish when landing, and the timer for the small guy turns it temporarily into a speed run game, which is great! Maybe the box's jump could be just one block higher, since there were a lot of jumps that weren't part of the challenge but were finicky since I needed to jump at the almost the last moment. Great game, and I love the pixel art!
Thanks! Yeah I rushed the level design a bit so some of the box platforming is pretty janky, but thanks for playing!

The platforming is juicy and satisfying. And the theme implementation is hilarious! Tbh, I couldn't get past the level with the timed blocks. (I was stuck in the 2nd part where the bread must pull the level to open the door) But, I hope there are levels further in the game where we have 2 toasts. You can then include puzzles like: 2 pressure plates need to be activated at once to open a door...

Running out of time is the name of game jams, don't worry about it! You nailed the first rule of platformers: make it fun. The movement between the jack and box feels satisfyingly distinct. I can see a lot of potential behind this idea. The art and graphics are adorable!

Loved the concept, but some of the jumps on keyboard and mouse were super precise and difficult to execute. Some music would have also gone a long way. Super fun!
This was a great concept, but not gonna lie, I am definitely not a keyboard & mouse gamer so getting the platforming to work well for me was a struggle, mainly the wall jumps. Some level music would have been great to keep the levels entertaining

The art is really charming! Really fun concept, i love the puzzles and everything i just wish there was a way to see all the controls, i struggled with them in the beginning everything in this game was charming and it sticks to the theme very well! (infact as a core mechanic)
i wish there was some music in the game, the audio section in general was very lacking but even without music it’s an amazing game
