Great art! Gave me Megaman vibes. :)

The movement felt a little stiff especially jumping but the rolling mechanic worked very well. Made it to the boss but for some reason just could not avoid the bombs even with rolling and being away from the explosions so I kept dying. But overall, nice work!

A nice entry to the jam. The movement and shooting feel good and the art is really good!

Nice game but boss I can not kill him.

That boss is way too OP, lol. Cool game, had fun!

Definitely felt intense and I did spend a good three minutes dying to the first hole and ended up dashing into the bossfight. It was a bit too difficult for me but I liked the character and background arts!

Pretty difficult, but the boss fight at the end is very cool! Would have liked to see a bit more enemy variation. Great work regardless!

Hi!

Thank you for the kind words! The game is definitely more challenging for casual gamers, but we’re glad you gave the game a try. More enemy variations would be the next step in polishing this game, in addition to making some adjustments to enemy AI. Anyways, thank you for taking the time to leave a review!

Love the arcade feel to this! Would say at the start we was just jumped into combat right away and the enemies felt a little repetitive that at some point I just started running past them all with ease. The boss fight cutscene and halfway mark of the fight was very cool and the teleporting sound reminds of Dragon Ball. The boss attacks did felt a little unforgiving as for me to perfectly dodge the projectiles was to move back and jump constantly, and I noticed that you can't move in the air once you jump standing still. It was a challenging but nice game!

Hello!

We’re glad you enjoyed the game. The teleportation sound is inspired from Dragon Ball, so thank you for noticing that! We thought it would be hilarious for the boss to teleport around during the fight.

Thank you for taking the time to review our game! It means a lot.

The boss fight is actually pretty dope. Rest of the section was very repetitive and I could just fool the enemies into falling to their death.

Also wasn't the most original of games.

Loved the artwork and SFX!

Hi there!

Thank you for the kind words! The first part definitely could use some work as it is indeed repetitive and a little boring. Our main priority was the boss fight, which we are glad to know you enjoyed! Regardless, thank you for taking the time to review our game.

A bit rough, but props to you guys for making a decent boss fight

I thought the game was too hard at first but it's compensated by the fact that the enemies just love to run into holes, idk if it's normal or not but I couldnt complete the first part without abusing the enemy AI

Hello!

Admittedly, the first section of the game could definitely use some polish, but our main priority was to make the boss fight as fun as possible. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the boss.

Thanks for taking the time to review our game, it means a lot to us!
