  • This was a fun chill strategy game. The art is nice and clean, and the vibes are really great. Two small pieces of critique: It would be good if there was a way to minimize purchasing menu to get a look at your land before buying something, I had a tough time remembering, for example, how many trees I had adjacent to each other so I never bout the wood cutter. I also got the softlock bug others were talking about unfortunately. I could be wrong, but it seems like what causes it is the building that places forests not being able to place any more because all adjacent spaces are full. Overall though, fantastic game, and I could definitely see it being expanded on
  • Great game ! I had fun, I failed at 5th payment the first time and it was fun enough to make me to give it another try and I'm now debt free ! I enjoyed the gameplay, I'd say a bit of music could've been nice, but appart from that. Excellent !

Did you work alone, or as part of a group? (If in a group, list their names)
I worked alone

Disclose if you used any public domain assets or not.
I downloaded a soundtrack from Uppbeat.io and also used Kenny UI pack

Managed to beat it on the third try! I like how the map layouts make you think about where you should put each establishment. The seeming lack of music was a bit of a let-down, but I do like how the one sound effect gets higher as the money earned per round gets higher. Overall I had a fun time.

Love the ambience and simplicity of gameplay.

Good game. I like how similar our games are

I did get a softlock at the 900 dollar day. Wonder if it was because I Alt+tabbed a lot? I did restart the game and finished it! What a lovely zenlike game! would gladly go into deeper in debt to play more

Love the game! I wish after the 6 payments, it was still possible to play, maybe a sandbox or endless mode?

I loved it! It reminded me a bit of the board game Tiny Towns, where you have to strategically place buildings on a small grid to make them score as much as possible.

This kind of chill experience where you can take your time is right up my alley. It was a bit on the easy side, I had a group of houses and nearly a full row of towers which gave me way more than enough money.

I think the play area is too big, as it stands there is no chance that you'd be forced to place a factory adjacent to a house because of a past mistake, for instance. So it's not difficult to place the houses all together, the factories all together, etc. By drastically reducing the grid size, you could force the player to make compromises when there is not enough room left.

A very solid entry, thanks for sharing!

Now that was pretty cool!

I did a few rounds and you know what!? I'm going to play it some more later!

Nice work! Really fun!

If only getting debt free were this easy IRL!

I love the pixel art style, and the game was incredibly clear with its directions. Very easy to learn, very fun to play!

Getting to the full octave of income bonuses after each round was super satisfying! ^_^ Loved that part of the sound design. I think getting beyond a "full octave" should add a bonus sound that repeats instead of just the normal high note, like a mario 1-up sound.

After day 3-4 it felt a bit too easy, and since I didn't really have to make any big decisions it started feeling a little tedious. But the concept itself was really fun! The different buildings had interesting mechanics that were fun to discover and optimize. It's just that my economy was doing so well, it didn't seem to matter which buildings I chose each round.

I had a great time! Great work

I got softlocked on my first playthrough but on the second time I cleared the game. Really fun game. The only thing I could ask for is more tile types and for a run to last longer.

Very fun and addictive game. Played till the end and wish there was a free play mode afterwards.

Would be nice if I could minimize the tile selection screen to think about where to place new building types. Nice work!

Very cozy and cute game, perfect to play when needing a rest from writing submissions for 2 hours.

I did get stuck at day 16 at some point, the "Next day"button just randomly stopped working.

A small and cozy game with nice pixel graphics. I put a separate plus sign for the graphics, it's very cool
