Controls are janky, but the game is overall well executed. Wish it had some form of difficulty scaling though, like speeding up enemies or their fire rate as your score goes up to keep things fresh. And it is laggy, did you not make bullets get destroyed after getting off-screen?
All in all, good game! I had fun playing it.

- Congratulations on your completed entry into the Fireside's first ever Game Jam!
- Classic graphics style in this game worked well for the screen size. There's opportunity to polish it up more but obviously there's a time limit in a jam. I found this game to be SUPER fun, and was quite happy with the way you went about using the theme. Though there were no SFX, the music was awesome and was good to get the player in the mood for the fighting. There was the bug of R/M not working once you died but I believe you were aware of that. I found the basic controls nice and easy to use. I played this game over and over and over. I think there's potential to make it multiplayer or even move to mobile if you want to sell it. Great job!
- I am terrible at twin stick shooters. But this was fun. The healing mechanic is a cool idea, and a nice little twist on a basic twin stick. Issues: -Slippery controls, I'd try to stop and turn around and I'd slide for too long before moving, which would mean I'd get hit more often. -Are you deleting bullets after a timer or anything? Because the game starts to lag after a certain point, and I have a feeling that has to do with bullets not being deleted at any point. Overall, Nice little game, works as intended, but in need of a few tweaks.
