Nice game! I like the goofy premise of it - running from the grim reaper and eating (time) pills, haha. As others have said: strangely addictive, although I'm not very good at it. Could definitely use some music - something with uptempo beats I guess! Cool that you made this with coding instead of GB Studio.

The Grim Reaper chasing you is hilarious and awesome to me. I love having him as the villain. And the metaphor is darkly adept - you can only run from Death for so long (even if you extend your life through medicine!)

Cool idea with the flipping between top and bottom, and cool to see more stuff made in C! Nice animations too.

I noticed the game is using 100% CPU, you may want to look into the wait_vbl_done() function and the VBlank interrupt. Unrelated to the game, but I'd also recommend using BINJGB as the online emulator, it will work much better.

I like how you integrated the points to also be the item that adds time.

I'm really bad at this (my high score is 1) but it was oddly addictive nevertheless . The short amount of time one try takes and the ability to directly restart the game makes this the perfect "ah damn, I'll give it another go" game. Quite nice adaptation of an endless runner game for the Game Boy.

Did you use GBDK or Assembler to make this?

I really like this kind of games, and adding a universe around death is very well found! I would have liked to have a good catchy song to sublimate the whole thing! I did 9 pts, am I the best in the world for now ? :D

This was somehow oddly addicting. I love the quick pace, I died a bunch of times, never made the 20 sec, and never scores any points. 

It has a motivating premise
