Great visuals and audio. Controls were simple but I didn't really use the teleportation that much. Nice game!

Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome work! Really nice looking visuals and the audio is very satisfying, I found the controls a little difficult to get the hang of, but overall a great experience :)

Great experience and intense but at the same time comfortable atmosphere! Crashing meteors is super satisfying and the ship controls are very smooth.

Just as a comment, I would love to be able to remap controls or have more options. I struggled a bit using the right click mouse button teleportation feature together with the SPACE key to thrust. I wish the thrust action would be triggered by the left click mouse button.

Really cool game! Well done!

Awesome game, it feels really polished and nice. Congrats!

My only feedback is: allow to accelerate with W, the spacebar is kind of weird to me.

Your feedback is appreciated <3

The idea is great, the graphics and the music fit quite well in the ambience. Meteors coming from top or bottom appear too close to the moon to be intercepted on time almost 90% of the time. Maybe some marks of incoming meteors would help to alleviate this. Also a bit explanation (or mention) about the power-ups would help. Otherwise a nice game, kudos!

I found myself quite immersed in the gameplay, but I never let go of the spacebar or teleport.

The graphics and audio were quite good, with some polishing it could be a great game :-)

Gameplay: I thought the controls wouldnt be good, but they were really good. The teleportation and upgrades worked well.

Graphics: The graphics were good.

Audio: Music and SFX were pretty good.

Innovation: Meteor survival games arent that innovative.

Theme: Meteors falling towards the moon, player destined to save it from destruciton...

Overall: Nice game.

This is a well executed and interesting take on the theme. Feels quite balanced too! I always seemed to be getting powerups just as I needed them and never once felt the game was "cheating me". Got quite addicted to this I will admit. Great job :)

I'm not good at this control, every time I need to turn I would take long time to figure out how should I turn then it's too late.. This control might be part of the game but I really hope there is a way I can enjoy it without fighting with it.

But in general I like the art and the teleport(saved me a lot)!

Appealing visuals and the music is easy on the ears. Lacks some challenge though.

Developer

Thanks for playing, I'll try to make it more challenging <3

i liked the ship controls a lot the movement was fast enough to not be boring and still precise.

just amp up the graphis a bit

Solid Work overall!!

I like the idea and the gameplay. It's good that there is an alternative way of movement - teleport. Although to look at his readiness one has to distract from the game. But in general, very good.

it was hard but i love it

Definitely one of those addictive sorts :).  Simple but effective background music too.

I would have liked the acceleration to be controlled by a different hand than the directions, but with the teleport, that won't work.  If the teleport could also be a key that would do the trick.

I actually like the coordination challenge, but I think facilitating the controls that way and putting the challenge in doing more stuff in the game would rock.

That said, I think I gotta play it some more =D.

Really fun game! I loved the controls, they felt really intuitive and tight right from the start. I've played a couple of other games this jam which had similar controls but none of them felt this good so great job on that. The power-ups were also a great idea. I loved the big ship one. My strategy was to save my teleports for the power-ups haha.

The one critique I have is that there doesn't seem to be much progression. The game loop was fun but I wish there was more to it. Maybe different asteroid types or attack patterns. Or maybe multiple levels where you have a different ship each level with a different power. This one has teleportation, maybe another one can have a shooting mechanic, another one can be bigger but slower, another one can have a "dash" mechanic, etc. There's a lot of potential here for deep gameplay and replay value.

You already have the tight controls down and fun gameplay down so that's most of the work done. Hope you keep working on the game and flesh it out. Would love to revisit this in the future and play more! Awesome work.

Nice game, played Webgl Version

+Nice Graphics

+Nice Audio

+ Nice particle effects

+Good teleportation mechanic

- Tough to control plane and it is too small

-Initial waves could have been easier

It would have been awesome if there was option to shoot

Developer

Yea I did think adding shooting system but didn't, so might add it later. Thank you for the feedback!

I like the neon graphics, and its very satisfying to destroy a bunch of asteroids in a row. I agree that the 'w' key would be better for moving forward. Also it could be interesting to include that screen wrapping mechanic (from games like Asteroids) for the player's ship.

I appreciate your feedback! <3
