shot can also mean a series of alcholic beverages served in succession. So I make a game you can shoot shots to moon to succeed in a moonshot!

Good work, it's a pretty fun game! I like that you introduce mechanics one at a time, and the writing is goofy as it should be :D
In later stages it got a bit chaotic for me and I didn't fully understand the thunder/witch gameplay, I might have to give it another try (I got the game to freeze after mashing a few buttons there :P).
on no sorry for the freeze :(
The thunder will destroy all humans in that column until it hits a witch with a shield. namely everyone under the witch(with a shield) would get destroyed. And the witch would lose his shield after a hit. I know it is chaotic for the last levels and witches are not strong enough to survive long from the meteors, so you probably need to have some human on top of the witch to protect him too... Hope this would help you if you plan to try it again :p Thanks for playing!
What a fun game! I really enjoyed it.
A really great submission. It felt like a crazy mash up between Lemmings, Space Invaders, and base building RTS games, but it worked very well. Great art and audio, and I thought the different abilities were interesting and provided a decent amount of strategy, like trying to place the bottle throwing guys at the bottom as your "artillery".
Thanks! I don't have game design experience and did not have too much time to test it, so the strategy of the game is not very good, but I'm glad you can get I'm trying to add some strategy part in the game!
That was a very original gameplay! :-D
The pixel art, animations and music were all very well done as well!
Nice job! :-)
thanks for liking it!
I’ve had a great time playing through the game! So funny theme interpretation, hilarious Moon graphics, cool music and very enjoyable gameplay overall.
The last level is quite challenging but after a few tries I finished it, yay! (proof attached)
Awesome job!
Thanks for liking it and finishing it! It means everything to me!
Below my video review bro! 36:30 Moonshot-shot

This was a very creative and fun idea! The gameplay was super fun and the pixel art was super cute. I honestly never expected to play a game like this but I'm glad you made one!
Fun game with nice mechanics! Made me laugh from different moon faces
Nice game! Really liked the mechanics and the graphics are extra cute. I got some problems here and there with the physics but restarting the level solved the problem. Glad to see more Godot games each year! Good job!
Hi thanks for liking it! Just curious what kind of physics problems have you met? Thanks in advance!
very nice implementation of the theme 😅
I liked the atmosphere, art and music fit very well with the game idea. It felt a bit uncontrollable to me, but still it was pleasant to play.
Hi thanks for the advice! can you explicate what do you mean by uncontrollable? Is it like when you click a button and it does not respond? or the way to click button is weird? or there are other problems? Thanks for playing the game again!
The controls themselves were nice, the uncontrollable feeling was more at at macro level: I did not have a feeling of being able to plan anything in advance or to be able to progress on a level (solve it faster, more efficiently),basically my strategy was always the same: try to have more and more people on the field until the moon can no longer deal with it. I think a bit more control could have been given by allowing the player to chose the type of people he wants to send on the field maybe.
I see.. I was planned to add another action for player, that they can click on the character in line and kick him out from the queue(or pick the character to move to the front of the queue). But I feel it might be too many work for player to do and I'm not sure if player will have the attention to take care of that.
Do you think this would make the game more controllable, or more hard to control? Or maybe I should add this and make the pace of the game slower?
Thanks for explaining this, this is very helpful.
Yes, I think this could help. I think I would prefer the version were you remove characters from the queue. To me it seems to fit more the current playstyle of your game.
Really fun! Loved that you added a story element to it. The artwork is really cute and music is a perfect fit for the mood! The gameplay mechanic was a little hard to get used to, especially with the moon shooting down my guys while I was still trying to get the hang of it. But I got better over time and shot him haha. Great work!
Thanks and glad you like the story! I know the gameplay is not perfect but that is the best I can get (well the former version is more weird..) and I'll improve my skill to game design haha
"A shot for the moon" good job dude
Great game. Killer artwork. Soundtrack is really cool. Also the idea is awesome. Big UP
Thanks I love your game too! your artwork is way better than mine and your style is what I'm striving for! Glad you like my artwork!
Thanks a lot <3
I got some lemmings vibes from this game. The music and graphics are cute, and I like the comedy aspect of the game.
Thanks I tried my best for a comedy dialog and glad you like it!
The theme interpretation was great. Nice graphics and really enjoyed the music. Overall nice game!
The theme interpretation was fun, and the music gave the game a nice vibe. Fun, charming little game. :)
Cute art style and a charming take on the theme! I like all the silly expressions the moon makes.
Thanks! The expression is what I want to make at the beginning, the game is just by-product :p
Nice game. I like the theme interpretation and the graphics are cute. I liked the lines but the grammar is off in some places. Perhaps you can get someone to proofread it.
yeah definitely. thanks for the advice!
