I really like the overall aesthetic of the game, especially the character sprites and their animations. The combat feels nice too and I like that there are multiple weapons to use. But it seems like when you are using the scythe, you can only attack enemies when you are facing right, so that was my only issue while playing the game. Other than that, I really enjoyed playing it! Great work!

All the attacks directions are controlled by the mouse pointer. So the scythe will attack left or right depending on the mouse pointer. It may caused by a bug too, but I'll have a look on the game.

I loved all the art, music, sounds, and character designs! The dialogue snippets were fun too!

The way the mouse interacts with the player is a little odd... Like, when you're in scythe mode, the player always faces in the direction they walk, but faces in the direction of the mouse when standing still. But with the gun, you always face in the direction of the mouse no matter what iirc?

The scythe also needed WAY bigger hit detection, I'm not sure level 1 is possible at all.

The controls in general could have been improved... click is fire gun, R is reload gun, WASD to move, space to use scythe, tab and then click weapon to switch weapons... I think it would have been more smooth if those controls were condensed, like click to use scythe, and tab just cycles through your weapons without needing to click them, and reloading can honestly just be cut (it's not like it takes any time for the character to do, it's just a distraction for the player).

I really like the ideas in this game, I think it has a lot of potential!

For switching the weapons you can also use number keys.(the 1, 2 and 3 number keys to switch weapons, 1 will always be the scythe).

We seperated the scythe controls, because you can use space for normal scythe attack and Left or right shift for a special attack that damages more but takes a bit more time to play. But we’ll try to condense the controls a bit and hopefully add a tutorial soon after the voting period ends.

Yeah, the extra reload time for weapons seems a bit unnatural as there are no animations for it indicating the player that he’s reloading his weapon. Level 1 is in fact a little hard for new players, who don’t know a lot of the controls yet, we’ll try to balance it.

Also we’ll increase the hit detection for the scythe, as I too saw that the the hit box for the scythe was a bit small for the normal attack

Pretty cool looking game, I like it, the visuals are very nice, the only thing I could find is the Dialogue, wish there was a way to get it faster haha, great team job!

You can skip through the dialogues by pressing E, we ran out of time so the few features like the dialogue box and the UI scaling has issues which we couldn't fix. Thanks for Playing!!!

Love the designs and visuals! I'm a sucker for scythes, so it was cool to have that as the weapon. Dialogue UI felt a bit clunky, wish I could go through dialogue without waiting for the letter animation (or maybe there was a way, and I just didn't realize). Great game overall though!

Utterly beautiful visuals to play-through and explore! It did feel somewhat 'off' when trying to attack and it missing but them hitting me, overall an enjoyable play through

Nice game and well made sprites and animations. The hit box took some getting used too, you really had to kite those early zombies. Well done.

Really interesting interpretation of the theme! The different enemies kept things interesting and made me have to reconsider strategies in how best to tackle them. UI could use some adjusting, I found if there were long sentences of dialogue it would expand outside the box. Otherwise great game all around!

First of all thank you for playing. Yes I completely agree with you about the UI. We actually overscoped a bit and ran out of time for polish haha. I'm actually working on those fixes & will upload fixed version.
