so cool game
Exactly the kind of gameplay that I like! I really like dynamic shooters, here the constraint of have to use the hook to move around is really cool. Big fan of the rail gun, however I'm having a hard time using the regular cannon. Also are the fireballs from the wizards following me? Sometimes I thought I wouldn't be hit but it felt as if it were tracking me?

The movement is defiantly tricky to get the hang of at first but after some warming up its pretty fun! There are some cool powers and abilities here that are fun to use, I especially like the lock on missiles. Nice work!
It took me a while to get used to the movement, but it was very rewarding when I got it right. Making some insane moves with all the weapons and mechanics is a lot of fun! The fact of not being able to move on the ground only motivates the player to jump around like crazy. Really enjoyed the game!

Love the take on the cliche! I pulled off some pretty sick combos and it felt great - rocket jump over the bow guys projectiles and laser him in the face. AWESOME! Also love spiking dudes with my grapple hook. And those sphinx looking dudes are some tough boys.

I liked the theme interpretation and thought you executed on it well. I can definitely imagine people getting very good at this game; I'd love to see a multiplayer deathmatch game based around this idea. A couple of the controls felt a little clunky. For example, the grappling hook felt buggy to me until I realised I was holding it down, rather than just clicking one. Instead of click to shoot it, click to cancel, I think it should have been click and hold to shoot it, let go to cancel, but perhaps that's personal preference. Graphics were simplistic but worked well, and the enemies were well animated and varied. Nice entry!
Thank you so much. I would have included an option to hold down for grapple but time ran out and a lot of things were missed. And of course you'd think multiplayer deathmatch, cause this game is inspired by a Quake 3 grapple hook mod I played long back. :)
Very interesting game, it has all of the clichés of its genre, while the added twist of not being able to run keeps it from being stale. All of the mechanics feel good to use too. Great job!

Pretty fun!
At first I thought you could only grapple and it felt really slugish, but then I realized you can rocket jump and even move in the air so that felt really liberating xD
I think if the grapple could be used to swing around it would feel even better!
Hi. You do have a bit of air control (WASD) while grappling. Yeah you can't do big swings. We will experiment with that though.
Also you can grapple on the floor you are standing on and then hold shift as the grapple ends to keep ground sliding in that direction. You can turn around and shoot in any direction while sliding. Like a tank.

Looks great, not being able to move without grapling feels really wierd and apperently I did not read well enough to figure out to use P to move the cam.
I was confused why that couldn't turn around. Is that intentional?
Hi. You have to capture the mouse to turn around. Click in the game window then press P to pause and the press P again to un-pause. This will capture the mouse.

It was interesting, I like the grappling hook mechanic, but I experienced some camera movement bug where I couldn't rotate enough.
