This was really good, but I got stuck at the gun part.  I dropped the gun to pick up a box and the gun ended up out of reach and blocked the box from where I needed to put it.  Unfortunately, I was unable to use the restart button either.  I was playing the web version, and it looks like the PC has better results, I might have to check that out later on.  This was still well done otherwise, nice job!

Concept, Gameplay, Graphics and ambience are pretty good, would love for it to have a online co-op in the future. I think I broke one of the tutorials, accidently picked up a box from the wall and could not place it back on the button, there was no restart button on the menu :(

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for playing! The web version has an issue with the restart level. The reload button does not work in the web version. But it works in the PC version. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey

the concept seems cool, loved the atmosphere and the style. However I got stuck at the same step as the previous comment :/

Developer

Hi!

Thanks for playing and feedback.

I don`t get about what comment you talking about. Tell us more about the problem you're having.

I got stuck at the same spot as masarapmabuhay just below and couldn't keep going

Developer

Sorry, I still don`t get what spot you mean. Please, Tell me more specifically about your case, because in the post from the commenter I could not understand exactly where he got stuck. Also, specify the level at which the bug occurred.

Hallo,

Thank you for sharing your game. I’ve already saved its RATING;

1. verified: GAME due to observed you also wrote a review for "Crazy Ant”; adds: read “AKAN” as the developer username to remind self of OSAKA, JAPAN

2. observed: noticeable drawing with animation techniques based on the sample screenshots and the web page’s explanation with the CONTROLS ; remembers: Resident Evil#1 (PS1)

3. observed: in MAIN GAME, noticeable drawing with animation techniques and background music; remembers: FLASHBACK (PC); observed: self to be surprised that the machine gun as drawn on the heavy box is NOT immediately usable, due to remembered sample animating screenshots on web page’s explanation

4. verified: GAMEPLAY to use multiple buttons to execute COMMANDS, e.g. push/pull box, squat; observed: self had to re-verify the COMMAND in the web page’s explanation to execute “squat”; notes: in MAIN GAME, the two (2) characters are switched to show select ACTIONS that are only executable by a character, e.g. male character for pushing heavy boxes;

5. observed: select collision detection techniques to still be in-development to cause characters to be stuck on the wall; learns: UNITY engine with WebGL to still cause such output; remembers: own developed tools are faster to use than select existing tools, e.g. hax for multiple operating systems (OS) as used in BallisticNG (PC, SteamPowered) after verification;

6. read: from answers to feedback on webpage, developer’s recommendation is to download game build to solve collision detection error

Thank you. Health!

I like the art style and the concept! The ambient audio is also good for building the atmosphere. I don't know if it is a problem with my computer or not, but I was unable to pick any items up.

Developer

Hi!
Thanks for playing. Try play game in downloaded ZIP archive. Sometimes WebGl builds can causes many bugs.

awesome game! the art is great and the controls are responsive, the instructions are clear on how to advance /control the player, the gameplay is fun and challenging , giving a good learning curve, overall I enjoyed playing this one, congratulations!

Developer

I liked the game, it reminded mt fireboy and watergirl. But i got some troubles with the controls, i left click and the objects weren't being picked up :(

Developer(+2)

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. It is quite possible that the selection icon is not entirely intuitive. The selection of items works on the RMB. thanks for playing

Very nice game, it reminded me Prince of Persia in some way!

Cool pixel art style ! Controls felt a little clunky. But veery impressive in total!

Submitted(+1)

Very polished game!
I'm not sure why, but I was unable to progress in the first map where we have 2 players. The guy was unable to move the box onto the button (couldn't duck or throw the box).
I ended up breaking the game when I spammed box pick-up and wall climbing. The dude started becoming immobile and floated up like a balloon lol.

Developer

You will be a great game tester! It is possible that the bugs are related to the web version of the game. Some features may or may not work in certain browsers. Thanks for playing)

This game has such a nice atmosphere, I love the background and the puzzles themselves. Nice job!

This game has great mood! The visuals are dark, gloomy, and the music matches it well. The concept has promise and I can tell a lot of thought went into the design of the game and the levels. The execution could use a little bit more polish; sometimes the game felt unresponsive when I tried to pick up things or push blocks, and it would be nice to visually see who I switched to. Just small tweaks and this game will really shine! I played as much as I could, but I got stuck in this room. I had no idea if I just couldn't solve the puzzle or if I got softlocked.

Still, I enjoyed my time playing the game. Great work!
Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback) As for the level, yes, this is one of the most difficult. You can really get stuck here if you let Thomas go before you open the door for Alice. In this case, you will need to restart the level)

I like the atmosphere - the music and some of the lighting. The puzzles were good, too. Really appreciated the tutorial piece to get into what we're doing with the controls. The shift button to duck took a while for me to click. I thought it was telling me to push up.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

i liked the atmosphere, it is very well done, but my experience was really disturbed by unreliable mechanics and the lots of dialogues (which, for a jam game, is ok)

+  "men are strong and carry heavy objects whereas women are small so they can go in narrow spaces" is actually sexist :c really you should look into avoiding this kind of things

Developer

Thank you for your opinion! You can help the project in the future if you describe the problems you encountered

We making this part based on gamejam theme - "cliche". It was not our intention to insult anyone.

Very atmospheric, but there are bugs with sticking in the walls. Replayed 3 times, but the bugs can not win :(

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. could you describe in more detail what errors you encountered?

Plenty of boxes I'll rate this a box/10

You captured a really cool game feel, the graphics and lighting are fantastic. I was stuck on the tutorial at the start, I didn't realize I had to mouse click through.

Developer

Hi!

For pick up boxed press RMB. If tutorial in game not so clear, you can read about controls on game page.
