I like the idea here and the cowboy hat armadillo is amazing. The player character is simple but really good. The core gameplay is okay, it felt a bit simple since it seemed I couldn't really dodge attacks and still hit the enemies so it was mostly just mashing attack. Also the buildings are missing collision. With a little bit of polish I think it could be a neat little game though. I liked the multiple different applications of the theme as well.

I enjoyed all the silly voice lines. However, most other things needed a lot more polish. I think the area you should probably focus on the most is making the movement feel better.  As it is right now, it feels a bit sluggish and floaty.

Thanks for the game.

Very cute game. loved the little story and all the fun voices. the camera control needs some attention but over all enjoyable

Cool game! The camera was pretty hard to control, and I couldn't figure out how to deal with the melee enemy without getting hit (i tried running around it but it kept snapping towards me), but the designs were nice and I liked the voicelines.

Cool  gameplay. Love the voices of the robots. Couldn't climb the mountain - I would fall through the wood. With the robots all having different attacks, it be cool to have different strategies for each. Seemed like the only thing I could do was button smash. Nice lighting an character design.

Neat idea! I wonder, is there any reason for the houses not to have hit detection? GGs

Developer

Thanks for playing! Only reason for that is because they were a late addition

It's a fun game!

So that the camera would not be so chaotic, I would reduce the rotation speed and also block the mouse within the game to avoid leaving the game involuntarily.

Thank you for your feedback and thank you for playing!

I have collected every gurt scale but at the end when I had 22/20 nothing happened. Disapoiting. The camera is hard to control and full scren mode doesn't work. Also I can just run.fall through some objects. I had fun listening to the voices and the story. Just got to love how the cannon are saying : "Stay on target" "Targer aquiered, just kidding" and so on. But overall it was very hard to play and that was probably unintetional.

Thank you for your feedback! yes, those issues/bugs were unintentional but such is the nature of a game jam. Hopefully we're able to return to this project soon to add more polish. Thank you for taking the time to play and leave us a comment!

Unfortunately I couldn't save Gurt, I don't see where to go after climbing the three log bridges? I like the main character design and the world

Developer

We're hoping to add a way for you to properly save Gurt in the future. For now, there's nothing beyond the log bridges. Thanks for playing!

What do you mean by all voice acting is done by "Joey Luthman"? As AI or in Person?

Developer

Hello! Joey Luthman is a real person and good friend of ours who was kind enough to do VA for us! We included a link to his IMDB in the description. Thanks for playing!
