First off, love the concept. Pretty interesting take on the theme and it's a very fun arcade-y concept. I like the layout, you built the map in a good way to figure out roughly where things are and making players run all around it can be a lot of fun. Like everyone else though I really struggled with the camera. It was very hard to keep it still and made it nearly impossible to avoid obstacles. Because it was moving constantly for me, it would turn into an object halfway through trying to run past it. Otherwise I had fun and I think this could really shine with a tighter camera.
Thanks. Yep. Definitely some things to iron out if I take this farther. I think the mouse/camera mechanic might work if it's only sloppy some of the time.
This game was hard! Some of the obstacles felt nearly unavoidable but I think the idea of slipping and sliding around a courthouse to get where you need to be is a funny concept. I think replacing those default UI elements really would've helped spruce up the game's look. I enjoyed it, funny entry.
Thanks! I had a mechanic to only spawn some obstacles to maybe ramp it up later. I ultimately just kept them all on - even if their unavoidable sometime. Thanks for the feedback about the UI.
Thanks!
Great game that one can make in a one month jam. I'm always hitting the bag of paper trash lol, it's fun!
I felt the mouse look/movement to be a bit slow, but maybe that's because I'm playing in browser.
Laughed when I need to sign the paper on the game over scene!
I appreciate you giving it a go and rating the game. Thanks! Yep. I got to work on the mouse movement.
Good game man !
Thanks for playing, Kevin!
Got a 229! If there's something I'd change it'd be the camera, and maybe not allow the obstacles to be right in the middle. Otherwise i enjoyed my time semi parkouring!
Thanks. Yeah, there's some balancing to be done, for sure. I think if I'd start over, I'd change the dimensions in general. Some of the obstacles become unavoidable, but if they're all to the side, it can be a little too easy. I keep on learning.
it's an interesting game for sure
Right. Nice hair and teeth... got it. Thanks for playing and taking a look!
Nicely made game! Had a little bit of trouble with the camera control but I’ll admit there’s a very good chance that’s user error. Well done!
No... it's clear I could work on the camera control... though, I'm starting to think it may stay as a feature.
Great work! Very messy courthouse so hard to move around ;) Overall I'm loving it, congrats
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the mess!
Nicely done! I managed to get about 212 score, but after the time ran out on me it seemed to reset and keep my score, which I'm not sure if it was intentional.
Anyways, the amount of content is impressive and I'm even more so impressed that you chose to go 3D. My first idea was for a 3D game as well, but it just seemed to be more complicated than I was willing to bother with. Congratulations on submitting and good job!
Fun and bizarre take. Graphics and ambience were cool and the idea is pretty original. I really liked the paper (sorry dont know the word in english) that appears when you lose, and the minigames were fun. The running part felt clumsy but in a good and funny way. Great job overall! had a laugh or two.
Thanks! Glad you had fun!
I liked exploring the big and hazardous building and playing mini-games. The controls don't feel very responsive, but otherwise it's a fun game. Good job!
Glad you enjoyed it, Woona! Thanks!
Bruuuh it's so hard to control my lawyer! I got a score of 38... only had time to complete one case. I really liked the animations when you crash on something and the little letter at the end! Good job!
Thanks for playing. I'm happy you enjoyed! I tend to get a only 3 or 4 cases before I run out of time.
I knew I'd never make it as a lawyer. Maybe I'd be better off as the courthouse's new janitor -- they're clearly in need of one.
Thanks for playing the game! I guess Courthouse Janitor Simulator is my next endeavor.
Grateful to see a game in 3D with such a cool aesthetic. It was really awesome overall ^^
Hey! Thanks for the great compliment!
Thanks! Sorry you missed the sound - the "-" / "+" control the sound effect volume and the "[" / "]" control the music volume.
Hey, our games have the same name :D Great job. Neat concept. I like the additional challenge of the controls - I think this lawyer was drinking on the job. I had a really hard time with the puzzle, though. The pieces kept rotating as I was moving them, even when they weren't touching other pieces.
thanks! That puzzle mini game! I was ready to scrap if only I had more time. I don’t know why unity has such a hard time with meshes that are not primitives, but it’s clear what you see and what the physics engine runs are two different things.
Fun concept, but kinda janky to play - the running part doesn't feel super good currently. The matching game worked well, though. The graphics look great!
The camera movement is very weird. But the game is pretty simple to play except that it is very hard to control the player. After some polishing it could be better (:
