Very simple and clever take on the theme :) Well done!
Well done! I really like your concept! It's simple yet very enjoyable :)
Super fun idea for this jam especially. The difficulty was fun but some of the controls like walljumping were frustrating to use. Some things like coyote timing and some fixes to wall jumping would make it much more fun to play. I could definitely see this as a full release with some tweaks to the movement.
One of my favourite games in the jam! A way too hard game that is also hard to stop playing.
Fun and quite a challenge. Some jumps and skirting past some keys is real difficult and having to start over several notes in hits hard on some levels. But...I still enjoyed it!
Really fun and challenging platformer. Lovely usage of the theme to go through the musical scales. Some of the sections required almost pixel perfect jumping which was quite challenging and borderline frustrating given you'd have to restart the whole thing. Overall really nice little entry, great job!
Cool platform game, which was fun to play. It was hard to get the wall jump every time which made the game a little frustrating. Enjoyed the smashing of the keyboard each time you died as it made me really annoyed each time I died in the game.
I like the musical notes, it was very satisfying but platforming had problems and wall jump was worse.
A very simple thing would enhance the game play and would hide the problems about controls and I am surprised why you did not do it.
Just disable the last notes hit box until we touched the next one in order. You clearly have a system to do this with a few changes already.
Hi, Thanks for the feedback. Not being able to hit the previous notes is a fundamental part of the challange so I wouldn't be able to do that.
I do agree wall jumping needs to be made easier, or possibly just clearer when it's ready to be used, I believe at some points when you slide down a wall it rapidly flips between thinking you're touching the wall or not but if you push into the wall it will be ready to wall jump, something to look into after judging.
Even a 1-2 second timed interval would be enough. I learned the hard way that I should let go of the things that I done if they are not working in a game even thought I love them.
I love this. The musical feedback is quite rewarding!
a fun idea that's really well executed! well done
Yeah, that's fun. Simple, elegant fun. Somehow the musical keys made me want to play more than I play most other pixel-perfect jump platformers. Intrinsic motivation. Well done.
Cool take on the theme. Levels are challenging and dynamic.
It doesn't work I don't think...
Hi, can you let me know what's not working? I've had a few people play it through to the end, there may be something specific with your setup if you let me know what OS and browser you're using
No it's alright I got it working eventually!
That's great to hear!
