With some sounds and better physics, could be a very nice game! Nice work !! 🔥

This was fun! Great start. Like you noted, it could use some polish with more time. For me, the green circles were confusing – I wasn't sure if they were obstacles or goals. And the jump felt a little "float-y". But overall, nice work!

Some goals are fake, they have a blue mark in the middle, I'm not sure why the explanation in the game is not enough, but I guess I should have made it more precise and easy to understand. Sorry!!! Thanks for playing!!!

Good start

Needs a lot of work though

The ice didn't seem like it was making me slip but more giving me a boost.

I couldn't finish it, the game won't let me get the cave goal.

Great prototype here! Platformers can be a real challenge to develop, but this controlled well and I had fun playing.

I also made a Celeste inspired platformer for the jam but it plays quite differently.

Excellent work on this, nice job.

Actually liked it. It does have that celeste vibe going, it could achieve it with some good polishing and more time. The snow and ice theme really helps make it feel more cohesive and with some music and minor upgrades you have really something going on. Hope to see something from you in the future!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm already polishing it and trying to get it to full release in a few months!

Thanks for making this GDevelop game! Unlike most games in this jam it actually works in a Firefox browser and it loads fast. Obviously some things are lacking like sound. Restarting from the beginning kind of sucks, but this is easy to fix, so well done!

I love platformers, and spent a lot longer on this than I planned to haha. I did also have the same problem as the below commenter though, which was a mild annoyance.

Having said that, as a core mechanic, this was just good ol' platformer fun. Like you said in the description, it lacks polish, but with a bit of time, this defo has potential.

Congrats on the submission!

Yeah sorry it's not a bug, just a feature. I just thought it would be a cool idea that whenever you fall you actually fall back to the start, so it's like actually scaling a mountain. And the green circle that keeps making people fall, before that was another one explaining what was are they and how to actually get to the end. Currently working on a fix.

Thanks for playing by the way!!!

The mechanic is cool! But every time I die after entering several green circles, I always start from the beginning again. Hope there's a saving spot somewhere.

Yeah sorry about that, I thought it was a smart mechanic that when ever you fall down you fall down to the start, and it's like your actually scaling a mountain but it's just annoying. And the green circle that keeps making people fall, before that was another one explaining what was are they and how to actually get to the end. I am working on a fix through.
