You did a good job with the tutorial. Just reading the page I was very confused about how the game worked but watching the tutorial bit cleared up my questions. Overall it's a solid overcooked-style game and the concept of curing zombies instead of feeding customers was a nice touch too. I would have liked a little more sound effects or a better audio balance with them because I never heard any chopping and without that feedback the game feels off. But overall it's a solid entry and fun to play so nicely done!

I thought I encountered a bug on easy mode when I couldn't make a lettuce wrap, It turns out I forgot to chop the lettuce . . . Very nicely polished and a fun little cooking game. Good Job!
At first I thought this game was a copy of this but that does not seem the case. You should at least use a capsule image to break this assumptions.
Game was well polished and tried hard to explain itself. That tutorial section was needed for sure.
The game needs more recipes for sure because current game play is a little mundane and does not let player to fail at recipes.
I think theme integration was a little weak. For example you remove the last part(scale) of the game and it still works as intended.
There was a lot of background probs and polish and it is very clear developer worked hard on this.
Nice, well polished game! Controls felt good and the video was helpful for understanding how to play. Ran a little slow on my pc but that is probably just me. Good job!
The gameplay was very nice. The controls were weird but you get used to it. Would have been better if it had more recipes than just tomato or lettuce.
The tutorial was a nice touch and definitely something that was needed.
The graphics were pretty simplistic but I think lumen was left on causing major gpu usage.
The only visual issue was that things stay highlighted even when you move away from them but this doesn't affect gameplay at all.
So far, A bug less game.
Nice work!
First thing I noticed is the polish shows! Those things that any released game has, but are sometimes & sometimes not there in a game jam game--the menu, difficulty implementation, and that tutorial--all signs that work was put into this.
The graphics are also just plain nicely done as well. Definitely enjoyed the mechanic too, a little twist on a Sim game. One issue is it made me hungry :-P.
Nice job!
Nice little meal prep game! Never thought I'd be serving meals to zombies. Got 308 seconds in hard mode. Like others have mentioned, things begin to feel repetitive fairly quickly. It would be interesting to see hazards of some kind... maybe like an oil slick or banana peel on the ground you have to avoid. Or maybe have the zombies cause trouble of some kind. Something to break up the repetition a little bit.
All that said, I enjoyed it! I liked the look of the kitchen and the meal prep mechanics were solid. Fun game!
Hello,
You did a wonderful job, congrats on the game you made. It brings be back to flash game days on Miniclip. I think the gameplay loop was easy to get and understand and maintained being fun throughout. Good job implementing difficulties levels as well. I think that the music gets repetitive pretty fast, could be good to find something that is a little longer before it loops. The gameplay loop is solid and is polished well. Hope that you continue to refine this project and maybe release it on phones!

I really enjoyed the game loop! The art looks pretty nice also! Good job!
I also made a "cooking" game. Can you check it out? https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2023/rate/2395305
The game has a nice look and feel to it.
I really loved the sound/music work and the scene transitions. Also, cooking for zombies is something new to hear!
The only thing I think could improve was that maybe the zombies could spill dishes or something bad to kinda set the stakes. But I enjoyed playing the game!
I liked the look and gameplay. I appreciated the tutorial and scene transitions. Good job!
Nice intuitional gameplay(watched tutorial), the recipes get repetitive over some time but everything was easy to make and without needed explenation how to. The graphics are amazing and good job making the game bug less.
