Good relaxing game! I played several times and have lots of fun.
The text before tutorial is a little long and complex, and yes, if improve UI design will be better!
Good job!
thank for the comment :D
its a good game! the art needs to be more consistent, some items are in one style and others are different, the start menu image appears to be from AI also
thank for the comments :D , the art i will make consistent for later update because i do all the stuff beside the character and utensil and i need ai to help it :)
Nice restaurant game! I think it's a great start. It's a bit stressful working in the restaurant as one person doing everything, it would be nice if we could hire helpers. I enjoyed the gameplay loop overall. Nice work!
thanks for the comments :D
Hello,
This was well done. Impressive job on the project. Must have been hard to code all of this. I think the game is enjoyable and easy to understand. It reminds me of older flash games. Could be really good simulator if you continue to add to it. I would think about adding staff such as chef and and waiter to the game could be cool addition.
Good Job!
thank for the comment :D
Sure, I can do that. Here is the corrected sentence:
The gameplay loop isn’t bad, but it needs more technical improvement.
First of all, the UI needs to be more consistent. Some menu items were drawn while some were real images.
The UI Scaling needs to be improved: The fonts kept changing sizes, some items were way too big while some were okay sized.
Apparently, after purchasing pudding and grabbing an item from the fridge, I got this error:
Pretty nice game jam game. I did had this bug where I couldn't start the game because it said I was "still in tutorial". Don't know if that was just me or not. Good job!
Thank for the comments :) maybe i will explain thats mean you still in tutorial , you need buy all thats tutorial says to play the game you can skip it too
It would be not a bad game. But you have to work on UI a bit.
But I think it is because of deadline. :)
thank for the comment :) , you true because the deadline :D
The game concept is very good! However, the overall UI/UX needs to improve. The font changing sizes while it appears is very distracting! Congrats on the submission!
thanks for the feedbacks :D
Nice work, congratulations on hitting the deadline, I read your comment about a conflict when trying to push the project!
thank you for the comment :) , yep about the conflict thats unity library big data (i tried LFS github) at the end i forgot the gitignored so yeah :D
Great idea for the game jam!! Congrats
thank you for the comment :D
Very cool! Definitely ambitious for a jam game! good work!
thank for the comment :D
Awesome concept, I love restaurant manager games! It definitely seems like an ambitious project for a jam, but with some polishing it would be really fun to play.
thank for the comments :D
Really cool game for a Jam! As others mentioned, the UI could improve, and the gameplay could be polished, but aside from that, it was quite entertaining to play. Good job! ^^
thanks for the comments :D
I liked that your idea was to scale the restaurant according to the player’s wishes, something I have seen very few cooking games do. So really nice for that!
However, your game needs polishing. The sound is good, but the UI could improve. A tip is to choose a look and then find fonts, sprites that stick to it.
Also, I had a hard time figuring out the tutorial, as I locked myself in it. But once I had the hang of it, it is nice.
Overall, I think what matters is that you have nice ideas, sure the polishing helps, but I enjoyed playing the game.
thank for the feedbacks :)
Nice work! You got a good concept, and I understand what you wanted to do, you just have to polish it. As everyone is saying, the tutorial is a bit confusing, and you can soft-lock it too, and enhancing the UI would be better! If you make it a full game i would love to give it a try. Overall, great concept!
thank for the feedback & comment :D
Nice game .The ui needs some polish and the tutorial is bit confusing .You can use different fonts to make the game the ui better.
thanks for the feedbacks :)
You have the core to make games, now you need to polish what you already know to make your projects go up in quality.
I can see what you tried to achieve with this game, but it's lacking in some things that makes it harder to play than it should:
Keep participating in game jams and making games, you are on the good way! Good luck! 😊
thank for the feedbacks :)
Number one rules is the least pop-ups. You could show a lot of stuff that is just as an overlay.
Separating spaces also helps a lot. It would be much better if kitchen and tables were in different rooms with different colors.
When I take a glimpse at your repository you kinda started to work 10 day left and even after that it is kinda on and off. I get it, sometimes life gets in the way so just being able to publish a working game is a trophy itself in this short amount of time , congratulations.
thank you for the feedback :) maybe about the repository i push 10 day before end because first time i want to push that had a conflict :D btw i do it myself beside of the art of character and music :) but, thanks for the feedbacks :D
You ready assets. If you are inexperienced making them from scratch will take a lot of time. Kenny has great assets. You can't be everything.
i will noted thats :D
It's pretty cool, I see the idea.
I think the next step could be working a bit on the UI, but otherwise, pretty nice.
thank for the feedbacks :)
Nice idea, it has a lot of potential!
thank for the comment :)
