I like it! I just think it is way too hard for a beginner level. A progressing difficulty level would be great! Nice job nonetheless! :)

I felt the rock level was too hard. Nice visuals though!

Wow, that was a crazy fast game. I think it is extremely hard for a new player. The pop level was a little more forgiving, but the rock one was completely impossible to succeed. Looking at the comments you're aware of that issue, but another thing I may add, is that you could take from classic games similar to this one, that the circles that appear show the arrow that you need to press. As you don't have enough time to process it with your eyes, any visual help is good.

oh thats a good one thanks falvariza

Great to see a rhythm game in jams. Definitely hard to incorporate the musical scale theme , so I'm glad someone takes a crack at it. Multiple music choice was nice to reach a wider audience.

I'm guessing you forgot to use time.delta time when coding the speed ,as high framerate increased the difficulty quite a bit  :P

only suggestion is maybe make the falling notes the same direction arrow as what they would fall over instead of circles . I would watch the top as they fell and then forget which lane was which

Nice to see another rhythm game - I enjoyed playing! I would suggest having a practice mode - it's quite challenging and getting bumped out is a little frustrating.

I like the character art, did you draw those? :O

The game was too fast for me but, the idea would work. :)

The game is way too hard.

For one thing, you're immediately dropping the player into a level with a note density that is pretty much what you'd see in the harder difficulty levels of most other rhythm games.

You also start throwing those very fast notes at the player before they've had any chance to listen to the music for a few seconds and get a feel for the rhythm.

The lack of audio or visual feedback for hits and misses makes it even harder to establish yourself on the rhythm.

Bottom line: most players are going to lose your game within the first two seconds, and that means you're going to lose most players within the first two seconds. If you want to go for this level of difficulty, you *really* need to ease the player into it.

Ratsnake, thankl for all ur feedback and yes the game have some many problems, i was the principal game programmer and.... thats not my area so ihave some many errors and bugs, but the game works i suppose
