Visually stunning with impressive art and a setting brimming with storytelling potential. I liked the premise of the game and the vase puzzle in the hallway stands out as a fun moment, hinting at the exciting possibilities for more interactive challenges.

The other puzzles are a bit simple, with many interactions auto-completing. Adding more moments where players can actively engage and solve challenges could elevate the gameplay a lot.

Looking forward to what comes next for this. Keep up the good work! :D

Really great game! The graphics are amazing, the music fits perfectly, and the story is fun. There are only minor things you could improve. I noticed that the y-sort of some objects is a little off, and the light that shines on the altar seems to be drawn above the player even when he stands in front of it. Also, because the art is so great, you might consider creating a custom splash screen. But honestly, that's just nitpicking. Overall, an amazing game! I’d definitely love to see a longer version of it.

Interesting puzzle, the graphics are very nice, the game goes smoothly and addictive, music and sounds are picked up great. Thanks for the game, I really liked it!

This game looked astonishingly appealing from the get-go, the art direction is just sublime, we have to congratulate the artists specially cuz holy moly this game looks gorgeous. It's such a shame that it was so short though, there were only like 2 very very simple puzzles and not much meat to it really.
We are very eager to see more from your team and hope that on future games you all go a bit harder on the puzzles and story cuz you got an art direction worthy of AA studio at the very least! Good job!

A very charming and compact game!

  • Simple UI and easy to learn controls (Only thing I would change: Interact from 'E' -> 'Enter' / 'Space').
  • Puzzles that aren't too difficult, but engrossing enough to keep you interested.
  • Charismatic and fun music.
  • An incredibly alluring art-style.

Overall, a great game! I hope you do well, STARDICE Games!

This reminds me of my game, only like.... 1000 times better! The art is beautiful, the puzzles are just the right ammount of difficult, and you even added in some stealth gameplay to boot! Overall, one of the best submissions in the competition, and I'd be very surprised if it doesn't get top 10 at least! Awesome job!

Can't say enough. Incredible art style and music. The game feels so cohesive.

Thanks a lot, Shoelace!

I enjoyed your game! Hand-painted art style is awesome. I think Find List UI felt slightly different from the main art style, but it didn’t bother me much. In fact, the UI itself was very useful. I often find myself getting stuck in point-and-click adventure games, but thanks to this UI, it was always clear what I have to do next. The final gameplay section after the secret is revealed felt a bit short, but overall, it was a good experience!

Developer

Thanks a lot, Adaid! The UI, in our game, was designed to avoid making the player feel lost during the game.

Regarding the second part, in future it may be possible that the game will be expanded to include a longer stealth section and more puzzles, so stay tuned!

Hello! Great work on your submission and congratulations to your team! You all did a fantastic job collaborating and creating something amazing. The art is amazing and I felt like from first glance it was highly professional. I compiled a few points of feedback that may help your game in the future!

  • When you start the game, the background audio cuts out and stops if you wait outside the building long enough
  • Controller doesn't seem to navigate during the main menu (at least I can't select to the exit button), I am able to select the start game button though.
  • A pause menu, and additional settings like audio control would be fantastic
  • While controller input is active, it might be beneficial to disable the mouse (icon and functionality)

Overall great work once again! I loved how you put little secret cameos of your last projects in the game (i.e. the two colorful square and triangle characters)

Got really sucked into this one! The art style is charming and the music compliments the game beautifully. The movement is a bit clanky at times, and the zone from which you could interact with an object could be a bit bigger. In terms of atmosphere, you really did an incredible job!

The art and the sound design are really good and they really give to the project a very distinct personality!
The game is short and simple, but, as a game jam submission, it is really polished! With one or two more puzzles, it would have been perfect.

One little note: the object interaction is a bit janky and sometimes Angelo doesn't interact even if the object is highlighted and this is confusing for the player.

Good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot, Karbb! Maybe in the future, it will be expanded (we do not know it yet) but for sure we will find a way to fix the interaction system in way to make it more polished.
