  • Who doesn't love playing with radio-controlled toys? I certainly do and this was no exception. I loved how you had to literally use the controller to make them do things, and swapping controller swapped the toy. The camera zoom feature was very helpful and I enjoyed my time controller the race car, digger and helicopter. I still think the race car was the best of all though, especially with its sound effect. Perfectly on-theme, too! And really nice visuals. Great stuff.

Great game. The physics work nice, especially with the car. I think it could use more gravity, because the vases are almost floating in the air while falling, but it’s not huge a problem. I had fun breaking them.

The style and music work well together, and I had fun playing the game. It’s definitely innovative, using the radio controls as controls instead of the keyboard directly (though I would prefer the keyboard.) I think it would work better on mobile. It’s almost as you could have opted for the NPC challenge, as you indirectly control the players.

I kind of wished it was open sourced, because I also use MatterJs in my Phaser game, but would love to see how MatterJs was used in this game, well done! (this doesn’t change my score though, don’t worry, haha)

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it :D

How did I use matterjs in this game? Badly. I find it very difficult to work with, and I could not rely on it to behave the same every time.
Sometimes the vases stay put, sometimes they dance away, sometimes they fall over.

Wow, what a cool physics game. Feels and plays great, great art and good music selection. Here is some minor feedback, which may help to even further improve the game:

  • I think there is somewhere a bug with changing the levels. After the 3rd tutorial level and the 2nd normal level it loaded again the 2nd tutorial level.
  • I like the zooming mechanism. However, when you are zoomed out and switch between the toys it is not so obvious which toy is now active. Maybe having the same color on the remote and the toy would already solve it. Or just quickly highlight the toy you selected.
  • Keyboard controls would have been nice. Not sure if you really want that, as it might take away the whole experience and to be honest controlling the remote with the hand was also fun. Maybe the game gets too easy with keyboard controls. So not sure about this input :).

Anyway, a really well made and polished game! Well done!

Thanks, appreciate the feedback.

I knew about the level change bug, but I ran out of time to fix it.
I had keyboard controls originally, but I took them out when I realized the on screen remotes made the whole game work on mobile.

Maybe I'll put them back in at some point.

You're the first to mention the zoom issue, that's definitely something I need to address.

Loved the game! Surprised how it looks fully developed for such a small time of the gamejam. The art style is so clean

Music is so funky. Graphics are perfect. The first level took a few minutes to think in reverse. Reminds me of Lemmings. Great potential for level design.
