- The mix of Asteroid and an evil wizard makes this game clever due to the wizard's comments. If you want to be surprised by the wizard's antics, this is your game. Dodge the enemies or destroy them, but the important thing is to find the wizard to answer his crazy questions. It would be interesting to have a version with more polished controls since they lock up when pressing two directions at the same time, and it would also be nice to have a less difficult game.

It's a solid base for a good bullet hell game and the vector art definitely gives a big retro/nostalgia feel. I wish I could move diagonally as it felt a bit weird and janky to dodge attacks when I would have to let go of one movement button to start moving in a different direction. It was also a bit brutal with how easily you get killed but that may be the point so not necessarily a bad thing. Overall good job!
Loved the retro vectors art style! I suggest to add diagonal movement to make the game more smooth to play!
Great job!
Interesting little shoot em up. I feel like a gradient grey or textured background instead of the black background would help show players which direction they were moving in when they had a couple of enemies left.
I like the little quotes in between the powerups, really motivating. Good use of the wizard emoji, I always knew he was up to no good.
Thanks for playing my game! Once, at one of the competitions, I saw the use of emoji as the main graphics on which a number of games were developed. Given my capabilities of graphic primitives, I really liked the idea of using emoji as one of the possible equal elements of graphics, so I thought of using them :). Regarding the wizard - totally agree, be careful!
Thanks for playing my game! As for the bullets... they are released by one of the enemy types, namely the triangle. As the game progresses, the number of enemies and their attack speed increase proportionally + some randomness. Also, you may be very unlucky, in which case you will always have the maximum allowable number of enemies with the fastest possible attacks :D. I agree that we cannot do without deaths, otherwise it would be too simple ;).
Thanks for playing my game! I'm glad you were interested! I specifically chose this direction in particular to try to create something minimalistic in terms of graphics and music, but actually I was going to add some sound effects but I ran out of time :). My graphic ceiling is graphic primitives, so I wanted to demonstrate in particular the possibility of making a game with minimal graphics :).
Great work!. I liked the philosophical route you took for the theme, the level design is also amazing, having a relevant mechanic in each level related to the type of power you want to explain to the player is cool.
Thanks for playing the game to the end! Who but a developer knows what joy it is when your game is played to the end :). I agree about the bullets, but as the wizard said, you are only mortal ;). I hope you didn't miss the end (hidden) scene with the conversation with the wizard ;). Glad you enjoyed :).
Nice, old retro vector style look.
Though the enemy bullets are way too fast to be reacted upon as the enemy shoots from the very edge when appearing and you just run to the bullet before being able to dodge it.
Also the lack of diagonal movement really hinders the playability.
I REALLY liked the later levels though and the humour was spot on <3
Thanks for playing my game! I hope you saw the hidden scene after completing the game 100% :).
I agree that the battle is difficult and probably needs better balancing, but there was so much more I wanted to do, and I ended up handing it in a couple of minutes before finishing :). Diagonal movement has been haunting me for a long time, but I successfully hide from it :D.
My game consists of two main parts: shooting for fun and humor for laughs, and I'm glad if someone found it funny!
