who doesn't love a tower defense game!

Liked the large graphics looks neat, and the UI - well now, side bar menus!

reminds me of a game I played on iPhone where aliens try to steal your sheep.

Nice work.

Great work working the time theme into the genre by using it as a resource. Good implementation of the game as well :)

I enjoyed playing it!

I like the idea of time as a resource,   i thoroughly enjoyed play it  .  if you spend a bit of time polishing the UI  you will have yourself a cool game. Fantastic work :-)

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, UI could definitely use some love.

I loved the concept, very very  original! I don`t know much about the genre, but I enjoyed (I got till level 5) a lot your game. With a little polishing here and there, you will have an awesome full game, the core mechanic is great! Congratz bro!

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Damn, this is a good game! Despite the game UX is not great, the core mechanics are gameplay are interesting and require the gamer to think about how to stop the waves of enemies. The use of time as a resource is smart. Hopefully we could see more about this game soon. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it! UI was definitely an afterthought.

oooh, this game reminds me of Bloons Tower Defense one of my all time fav game, i loved how you implemented the theme into a tower defense game made the game 3 times better. I think that instead of the name of the turrents, an image of them would look much better on the ui. good job on this amazing game :D

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I wanted to do a lot more with the UI, your suggestion is well taken.

I really liked the concept of using your currency as health. I also loved the speedup button. I only made it to level 5 before giving up

I really enjoy tower defence games and this one was no exception. I like the time twist and how the kinematic bullets feel when hitting an enemy. I think it would be cool if the range of the turret is displayed while placing it. Fun game, good entry!

Developer

Good idea, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

It's really interesting seeing your health double as your turret resource in a turret defense game. The shooting effects were satisfying and I like the minimilistic art approach. Great job I really enjoyed it!

Pretty cool! Tower defence games aren't really my thing but I enjoyed the way you used time to make it almost like a puzzle game. Some of the levels are pretty tough!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, we didn't even try to beat them all :D

Pretty cool tower defense game! I thought it was cool that time was used as turret currency and player health, I've never seen that before in a tower defense game. I played through all the levels, all of them passed level 2 were incredibly hard! It was very useful seeing the wave queue though, I was able to better prepare my turrets for them and their weaknesses. All the controls were communicated very clearly in the "How-To-Play" menu, the story presented there was also pretty cool. The low-poly art style was cute and the bullet / barrier VFX were also pretty neat. My only suggestion would be that the UI could be a little improved, I think that can be addressed by replacing the default Unity text font  (DaFont has some really cool fonts) and also by using some kind of UI pack for panel / button backgrounds (OpenGameArt has some cool UI packs).  I played all the levels in progression but I think it would be better if all the levels weren't available to play from the beginning, perhaps levels can be unlocked progressively or all the levels can be played through a campaign-style playthrough?

Overall pretty cool! Nice jam!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The UI was definitely the piece I spent the least amount of time on, I will look into using UI packs for next time. I wanted to do a campaign style, but didn't have time to implement a save system - drawbacks of being the only programmer.
