OMG this game is sick! I love this, the gameplay is fun, the graphics is awesome. I need to beat it at maximum difficulty, I'll prove it!

Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game and for the comment!

It is doable on max difficulty… and you might get something extra for it… who knows? :D

Yep its a great showcase of what you guys can do, just let me move faster :)

Developer(+1)

I guess since everybody seems to want it, I'll speed things up a bit, haha
Thanks for playing!

Awesome graphics! Great submission!

So cool - really remarkable what you were able to do in such a short time! The ship is a bit sluggish but it gives the impression that it is massive which is cool. I would have preferred to control the lasers directly. This is my kind of game!

Developer

Thanks man! Yeah lots of people have complained about the ship being too slow, not realizing it's supposed to be large capital ships, not little fighters you're controlling. I appreciate the feedback about the lasers too!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

As a side note… player ship is 230m long :)

Great cinematics and really polished graphics, quite enjoyable. A very impressive amount of work for the 10-day time frame, kudos to you guys!

Developer

Thank you!

A really polished work of game development good job! The visuals are stunning and the cutscenes are jaw dropping especially when one considers that it was done in 10 days! I did find the movement of the ship a little slow and it became especially when my fuel was out... But that laser tho has to be one of the most satisfying things there is! Great job!

Developer(+1)

nice thanks! yeah I might speed up the ship a little bit, it's been suggested a few times now. Were you referring to the laser from the boss?

Submitted

Yes the heavily telegraphed one!

It's crazy how much of stuff you added into the game in really short time, I couldn't reach the end though, I ran out of fuel and it took really long to get to the next objective, awesome game guys!

Developer(+1)

Fair enough, we made a short-term last minute decision to make the fuel harder to recover to encourage you to be economical with the boosters, haha.

Developer(+1)

Lol, git gud :P

Thanks for taking the time to play it :)

love the assets really nice and colourful, and great cinematics. it's a nice professional looking game, with voice acting as well.

Developer

Thank you!

Awesome job! Loved the cinematics and the environment in all, gameplay is fun! I was confused at first about how to shoot, then I realized it was automatic except for the missile xD I would have preferred to move with the keyboard keys intead of the mouse but that's just a personal preference :) Amazing work, contratulations!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and for your feedback!

Impressive! That you all made this in only 10 days, wow :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It was crazy crunch time for those 10 days… I’m still recovering… :D

Submitted(+2)

Wow, it's gorgeous. The initial cinematic was really beautiful to watch and the gameplay is simple and fun. 10/10! Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

Damn! Huge in scope - loads of features, drifting around is quite fun once you get the hang of it and the atmosphere is excellent. Well done all :o

Thanks! :)

Looks great. My onboard GPU (from... ahem 2013) doesn't seem to like DirectX 12 though, if I manage to treat myself to a new card this week I'll be able to give it a spin.

Developer

Thanks! Akhm… we didn’t really have time to properly optimize the game (that would take probably a month or 3)… But I managed to run it on my older laptop with 970 in it (with acceptable fps)… I hope you will get new card soon! :)

Submitted(+1)

Intel literally removed DX12 support from my iGPU due to security issues (..!) Thinking about it - I might be able to make use of a laptop with an onboard Nvidia card of some sort... Will report back :)

This game is insane visually the voice acting is so good too  but its a  bit slow-paced can definitely see this on the top

Love it, the visuals, the custscenes and even the endearing voice acting. You did great and would love to see this more polished. Are you gonna tune this more so the ship isn't as slow?

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I think we are not done with it, but for sure we have to rest a bit after 10 days of crunch :)

Loved your game!  It is very well done, polished and finished (in a game jam that is not always accomplished).

The only improvement I can think of (and really, it is the only one I can think of), is that perhaps  a "map" to see were are you, would help players without orientation sense like me, that need a lot of help.

Developer

Ah yes, fair enough. I was hoping the quest objective markers would be enough to guide players. We talked about a minimap of some kind but ultimately decided there wasn't enough time. This game was already way too feature-rich for a 10 day jam, haha!

Developer

Thanks! That’s awesome suggestion! Minimap or similar feature would be really good!

Your cinematic is mind blowing. I love your video trailer.
I’m overwhelmed by seeing that level of polish in a game jam.
Bravo 👏 !

Developer

haha thanks for the praise, we worked pretty tirelessly on this one from start to finish of the jam. I probably spent around 14-16 hours a day just coding while my partners handled all of the 3D art and graphics stuff. Boban did the cutscenes through unreal sequencer I believe.
