The pinball that was available back in windows XP was one of my childhood favourites,  felt really cool to play this with the theme twist, good stuff man and congrats on the high ratings!

Thanks mate :)

Neat little pinball game. Can't say I've seen many pinball games in jams ever. You all did a great job of translating this and making it feel like pinball games. Now, if only I liked pinball lol...

Top notch programmer art and functional presentation is the right target for a game jam, especially when it's clear you spent the most focus on getting the pinball to feel right. That's super important, so well done on that. However, I would have liked to see a less direct 1-1 translation of a table. I didn't notice the ticker at the very top until way later. Score and other info could easy have been on the sides, right? The side pins on the first stage felt a little unforgiving, but it could also be being terrible at pinball!

Congrats again on making such a complete experience for a jam game. well done!

I was going for that 90's scoreboard on the backboard feel but yeh that did present its own challenges.
Thanks for playing even if its not your thing.

nice pinball game. I had some scale issues on a smaller monitor but managed to get it to work.

Developer

Thanks, something to add to my checklist for future games.

Rated!

Developer

Your game was fun, very moody.

Love a good pinball game. I think my favourite part was how you interpreted the theme. With ‘Death’ being the beginning, I thought that was very clever.

Developer

Thank you, glad you liked my interpretation.

Fun little game. The artwork and effects are not the greatest lol.

I liked the gameplay it was a good simulation of a pinball.

Would appreciate if you check out and rate our game as well: https://hadilepanda.itch.io/rise-of-necromancy

I'll definitely try yours, to be fair to the artist supplied the flippers and bumpers, which I think are awesome, I used my prototype art for the rest and I'm no artist. And yeh I'm on the steep part of the learning curve for effects also but having fun learning it.

Fun game and made me smile. One small criticism is that I think the viewing angle is a bit low. But overall I'm impressed and I am going to download your source to see how you did it.

Developer

Thats good feedback, thanks, I'll have a play with the viewing angle post-jam.

A nice version of a Pinball game. I got a score of 5695. You have a winner. Please keep on refining it.

Nice game! Takes me back to my windows xp days, very nostalgic. The level transitions are really nicely done, keep up the good work!

I'm not entirely sure if this is good or not... But I got 2924! I beat the first level on the first try! And I'm genuinely terrible at reaction games haha.

I had not touched pinball for a very long time, brought back some memories. I believe I last played a pinball game around the time I played the winter olympics 2000 game on pc.

It was very difficult for me to see what was going on, more so in the 2nd map than in the 1st one, mainly because it was very light and my eyes are pretty poor.

Everything seemed to work well, bouncy balls worked fine, flippers worked fine, speed seemed good, everything felt realistic. Could even hold the release longer for a stronger release and even tilt did what it's supposed to do (I did get stuck once :D)

So all in all, thank you for your submission and bringing back my memories of pinball!

Your welcome, if you ever want me to do a separate build with darker boards please let me know.

Also the second table makes scoring much easier once you get the extra balls going and a few 2X and 3X bonus.
Never got the 4X or 5X myself yet :)

Loved the voiced queues had a chuckle every time one happened. This was definitely a fun game to play.

Noice! ;)

Very cool pinball game, I liked the theme and the story a lot.

Lagged a bit on the browser with an Intel graphic card, but was still playable

Developer

Ripper :)

Developer

I've built a downloadable version now if you wish to try it.

It's a fun game for sure. Engaging. Sound Effects are the best. Some visual uplift after the jam would be good but the game mechanics-wise it's very good. I had fun playing it.

Submitted

Noice! I had a laugh with that sound, the game is a lot of fun! Seems very polished mechanically, I had a blast with it.

Developer

Thanks :)

My son loved this one, well done! Fullscreen lagged a bit for me so kept it in its window.

Developer

Its so cool to have someone's kid enjoying it, cheers

I've made a downloadable version now if you want to try it.

I did not expect to be playing a pinball sim as part of this - had a daft grin on my face the whole time. Been a while since I didn't suck at pinball... I got to 'level 2' at least, will pop back and see if I can take out death...

Edit: Oh, reading more comments means I did take him out - go me ;)

Developer(+1)

cheers, hey if you got to Level 2 you took out Death (the targets) already, from there on its all about getting a high score while surrounded by my aussie accent :)

Submitted(+1)

Cheers, was on my last ball and didn't last long there. Loved it!

I enjoit, I played your game and now I want to make a pinball game :p

Developer

Thanks again for your comments, I watched your stream from yesterday but unfortunately I don't speak Spanish.

I would appreciate knowing why you gave me a 1 for aesthetics, 1 for music and 1 for story (as you showed on your stream).

You were right about my main menu picture btw, I know I can't draw yet and decided just to have fun and make something stupid but on theme, I liked it so I kept it. Its not meant to insult proper artists, I was just having fun. As an old engineer (nearly 60) who is about to retire and make games for friends and family its easy just to have fun.

Anyway, I would appreciate any comment I can have, even at my old age I want to improve :)
