Enjoyed playing this one!  very clever mechanic,   one must die to transfer to another creature, this makes the game fun and interesting.  The controls are responsive and the art is great, I like the way the brute slapped the taste out of the small goblin! Overall this is an awesome game! congratulations! keep it up!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback and the kind words. :) I will try and make the game something bigger in the future.

This is a killer concept. If you give a greater reason to inhabit your killer -- like intentionally dying from a monster that has a certain ability that allows you to solve a puzzle -- this could be awesome. Keep it up.

Developer

Thanks man, I couldn't really spend enough time for a decent level design. It was more like putting together what I found around :D. I just played your game and loved how you manage to create fun levels with your game idea. I will work on that more next time. By the way, if you want to team up next time you join a jam, I offer myself as a candidate :D Just wanted to mention that. Thanks again for the feedback.

No problem, and I'll definitely keep you in mind!

Nice! The mood reminded me of Exanima :D

Developer(+1)

Heyy, I just checked a video of Exanima, this game is cool. I am going to buy it when I get back to my computer. Thanks. :)

Great idea and well implemented.

I really enjoyed this. I think the combat could use tweaking if you are going to expand on it, but for what it is I liked it a lot.

I had played this yesterday and came back to leave a comment and rating. Nice job on submitting, and this was honestly pretty good!

Developer

Thanks man, it is nice to hear such good feedbacks. :)

It immediately reminded me of a game of hide and seek lol.
Interesting concept, but something is missing and i just can't put a finger on it.

Developer

Well, technically, there are many things missing :D but so far the lack of reason for attacking enemies is a bit more problematic.

Any kind of ideas are welcome. Thanks for the feedback :)

Hmm, I'm guessing the players get pushed into a horde of enemies too quickly. Which disable the players to learn about the mechanics and the ability of each monster. You may want to lock the first room with just 1 monster, to let the players figure out what is happening, and unlock the room by themselves.

I really like how Miyamoto Shigeru design his games with unobvious tutorial.

Developer(+1)

That would definitely help player understand the game better. I think I need to spend some more time on just thinking about different level designs for the first sections of the game. I will give your idea a shot if I keep working on this project.

Thanks!

P.S. Miyamoto Shigeru is the G.O.A.T.

i had a lot of fun playing this

Love the concept, very nicely done.

Didn't quite figure out how to escape, but had fun playing.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words.

I am not comfortable with the level I designed, but as long as it gives an idea how the game mechanics could be used in a game, it is good enough for now. :) I admit, there are not enough clues for directing the player to the exit.

Yeeee! That was super enjoyable. Every time I came across a new obstacle I felt smart because I knew what to do-ish. Maybe that makes it a bit too easy?

After my first attempt (in which I was consumed by my own sanity..) my strategy was to not kill anyone. Just run around to avoid hits and let myself get killed by what I needed. That worked extremely well and kind of made the fighting mechanic redundant in a way. I'd play around with that a little so that you may need to actually use the fighting mechanic a bit as well.

I had absolutely no clue that E was a Key until my second run where the gate told me I needed E. :D

Great job, especially considering you've done this on your own, did not have the weekdays and you're just starting out. Really impressive!
Developer

Thanks for the detailed feedback, very appreciated. ^^

I am aware of some bugs but I didn't really had time for addressing them.  It is definetly requires some fixing.

Not being forced to fight is kind of a problem. I am still trying to figure out how to solve it and I have couple of ideas. I will work on that.

Thanks again for the great feedback and kind words.

Hi, very well done! Except from some glitches (fly through wall as bat, walk through gate as goblin) it isbe a nice prototype for a good game! Nice Story and the idea of getting killed to get new abilitys to move on is very cool :)

Thanks man. Glitches were a lot worst but I managed to make it playable somehow :D

Very cool idea. Mixture of puzzler & Adventure feels very cool - the minimap & variation of enemies / things to shapeshift into is great - overall great job - GG!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words. :)

Really like the concept of taking the body of your killer. I got a little confused. Definitely could see this becoming something cool! Nice Job!

Developer

I think the confusion is mostly due to the lack of visual feedback of player's actions. I will work on that. Thank you for your feedback.
