nice amount of challenge and pace. A fun wee death loop although i think im gonna hear that gong in my sleep! Nice job guys.

Developer

Thanks a lot! And yes, that gong is really annoying! We discovered this after repeated deaths, but unfortunately, the sound design was all made in the last 2 hours of the jam.  We didn't have time to change the sound, though this is something we'll aim to fix after the jam is over. Thanks for the feedback!

Love the art and the fact you can push agents into lava that made it interesting mechanic even tho you had a gun :)

Developer

Thank you so much! We went for a more simple and low poly artistic approach (sort of due to the lack of time) and the lava pushing mechanic was an addition we added right before the deadline. We were struggling with our own game's parkour and wanted a cool way around respawning every time lol. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Hi man congratz on your game. :) Jumping in a straight line was super smoth, but while doing vertical jumps Ive noticed that some jumps I was sure I was going to make it but in the end Ive pass the plataform by a lot xD  Maybe adding feets would help to see where the player body is?

Please play my game and give me your honest feedback :)

Thank you so much! We developed the game yet we still have trouble landing the jumps. We discovered some issues with Unreal's default jumping and it's actually quite annoying. We would've made our own jumping mechanic but unfortunately ran out of time. This will be at the top of our agenda after the jam! As for adding feet, I think that would be quite useful as well, as many of our playtesters struggled with positioning on platforms. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Even though I absolutely suck at first person platforming, I thoroughly enjoyed myself with this one. My favorite part has got to be when you get a movement speed increase and just jump over multiple platforms. I also loved how both of us thought of the bomb idea but took it in radically different directions! You two did a great job!

Developer(+1)

LOL Thanks, and yeah don't worry- we made the game and still suck at it. I'm glad to hear this yearned your interest in the first-person parkour genre, and absolutely- the bomb idea was "the bomb"! Thank you for playing!

Good job, a nice fun little challenge. Very interesting/ unusual mechanics.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing! We enjoyed making this game a lot and I'm glad you also enjoyed playing it. Yeah, the mechanics were unusual but we hope it had a fun twist to the usual parkour genere.

I enjoyed playing this game, even though I kind of sucked at it lol. I liked the simple aesthetic and the mechanics a lot. I would have liked if there was a checkpoint type system because, again, I sucked at actually landing on the platforms. I also couldn't figure out how to beat the third level. I got the dark room and then the hidden tunnel area at the very end of the main corridor, as well as the window at the very beginning that I couldn't seem to jump to, and then ran out of time because I couldn't figure out where to go next. Overall I really liked it! Good job!

Developer

Thank you! And... Don't worry, we developed the game and we still suck at it LOL. The game didn't have checkpoints as the theme was death was the beginning, and every choice you make set you back or forwards (metaphorically). The walkthrough is posted on the game's page as the "trailer", so if you want to see for yourself what you missed, you are more than welcome to.

Cool game! I loved the movement and the vaulting was a nice touch!

Thanks a lot for playing!

If you don't mind me asking, do you think the levels were too challenging (particularly the parkour aspect)? Some of our playtesters had issues getting the hang of the controls.
