Very cool and utilizes the same mechanic that I have in my one game. Aesthetics are nice and the game would benefit from some sound effects or music. I did encounter a bug where I fell into the a body of water in the cave and was not killed, though when I switched realms twice I then did die.  Good work for making all the assets yourself!

I guess it takes a lot of time and effort to work on such a project where you need to correctly overlay two worlds. You did a great job!

Love your mask designs!

Good job, I enjoy the whole switching worlds mechanic. Having space be switch and W for jump kind of threw me off for a little bit. Found myself switching worlds when I wanted to jump and falling down into a hole, but after I got used to it I was having fun. I also like your main character design. keep it up.

So I like the art style you did for the game. One thing i notice at the beginning was a bit of a paint error as I could see how it was out of sync. There will be a screenshot at the end.  So I like the flow of the game and the part where you had to press spacebar during each jump at the right time to cross. Might want to have it where the death animation for the water goes off a bit quicker for that. I do wonder what the ctrl attack was use for but guess it was something that wasn't to put in time. Just thought i share my feedback on your game.

I really like the sharp controls and changing the world. I just wish there were some checkpoints.
Good job though.

Developer

Thank you very much. That is definitely something I wanted to put in.

This froze on the titles screen for me, so I couldn't play. I'm using PC - Chrome to play. I'll come back and add ratings if you make a patch or something. Good luck to you!

I had the same issue at first, but if you change to full screen you can see the buttons to play the game

Developer

Sorry about that, The main menu was the last thing I very much threw together and the button placement was meant to change with screen size, it will show in full screen at the moment.

Nice game! It's nice safe-mechanic, that you don't die in the water, if you are in the spirit realm!

If you have the time, play and rate mine, too please :P

Developer(+1)

Thank you. That was a total accident, I forgot to add the colliders to spirit realm water. It makes sense though. Classic bug is now a feature haha.

Great game. Character looks cool. Died a few times, difficult to remember space is not jump :P

Also liked the 2 button puzzle, thought I locked my self in but I figured it out.

Developer

Thank you. Not the first mention of controls needing to switch around haha, something to look into. Maybe I'll add some screen shake to show the button has done something?

such a cool idea!! aesthetically pleasing too. love how the controls were introduced early on.  I did glitch myself into the wall at one point and fell into the abyss after switching back dimensions too many times.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much. I was aware of that issue and was going to put in cannot switch if there is a wall but didn't have time so I chucked in colliders so as not to fall but would seem I missed a spot haha.

Very nice game :)

Thank you, I'm just happy to have made enough to be playable.

Very nice!

I like the idea of the switch to move forward in the game!

I would like to have a full game of this

Developer

Thank you. I have considered expanding on it and adding what I didn't have time for.

I like the player character, big bleach/demon slayer vibes.  so jealous if people who can hand draw and animate sprites.

Developer

Thank you. Kudos for getting both influences. Got to lean into what you can otherwise you end up with less than a silent game.
