The mechanic is so cool, tower defend + 3d shooting, great job to have the thoughtful idea implement it.

I had the Realm Rush game and built upon that. Music by Eric Matyas soundimmage.org, Mixamo Animation. I used a YT-Video as the final song from MythFury

This was brilliant! I loved the sound the slugs make, very satisfying.
There are a couple of things that would improve the experience like pausing when I’m placing towers, some colliders on the edges of the map so the characters don’t fall off and a larger map with more complex topography. But honestly, all that is QoL stuff that is secondary.
You’ve got a good solid gameplay loop that I can think you can expand a lot upon, just adding a full upgrade path for your weapon and the towers you can place would add a lot of variety. Maybe you can hire mercenary gnomes that parachute in, kill some slugs and then leave, different types of slugs(they’re a bit big for my liking, something smaller that explodes with an even more satisfying squish would be great!)
All in all, solid project!
Hahaha I loved the end screen! That was a lot of fun, there was something very satisfying about watching the slugs explode and keeping my mushroom safe :) great job!
As a fan of tower defense games, I really appreciated the hybrid of a FPS-type experience with the math/management component of a TDS. I wanted to play longer than 4:00 lol. Many songs were overlapping haha but it actually sounded funny so I enjoyed it. Well done!
Good job! I ran into an issue where the mouse pointer left the game view/port. I had that same issue with mine. For the solution, look up "cursor locking" for webgl in Unity's manual. They have some code you can attach to an object in the scene that will make it so that the cursor stays in the game port unless the player presses Esc. Anyway, nice take on the theme, nice mechanics (I love tower defense games that allow the player to participate directly in the fight), nice use of sound and music.
This was a fun little survival game. Pretty easy but worth the ending!
Col game although I can walk throught walls and oof the edge for a bit. Also the mouse doesnt stay in the center when it moves so its difficult to turn, but I like the models :)
I enjoyed this game I think it was easy to spam buildings and just cram everything into damage. Made the game really easy but I would prefer easy than hard. Could use a bit of balancing but I thought the mechanics that you had were really cool. Shooting felt a little slow but overall I enjoyed it :)
It is a fun game , I loved the idea of using plant to kill slug. Sometime the main weapon didn't work. But the plants did the job. Good job !
Fun game! It could be addictive without the glitch I found: when I'm too close to the wall, I fall off the ground and end up stuck in the space, which is also funny but.. I cannot defend my mushroom that way ^^
That beeing said, I love the idea of mixing tower defense and your garden gnome.
By the way, I absolutly love the gnome dancing on the main menu, that was so funny!
This game was a lot of fun to play! The Gnomeboy Garden Gnome was really cool and I like that you did all the assets yourself! The game is a bit easy though once you spam enough sun flowers. Maybe it would be better if they get eaten or wither? Either way I had a fun time, great job! Oh and the gnome has some serious dance moves haha.
Aaah slugs!!!! Very creative and fun idea, very hectic also. Tower Defense games have lots of good aspects but they usually turn into idle games where you don't do anything but watch, and I think that this is a very good solution to that. If I ever expanded on this, I'd combine the tower & bullet upgrades so your bullet never gets useless compared to the towers. But overall, that was a very fun and intense 4 minutes!
wow, this a nice addictive and fun game I really like the game visuals and the graphics of the game are really nice, good work D.
