Getting some eyeballs on my game

It's great that everyone who submits a game gets a free course! But people who make games want other folks to play and enjoy their games. So here I am shamelessly promoting my entry:

https://cgqql.itch.io/chilling-through-life

With less than a day left for the submission deadline, good luck and godspeed to everyone who is still working on their game. Don't wait until the last minute. It took me a good several hours to get my game ready for submission, set up my itch page, and complete the submission process.

If you finished early, I think playing my game may help you chill and relax after all the hard work you've done for the game jam :P

No, problem. Everyone wants their game to be played. I am usually hesitant about downloading a file, but I thought I would give it a try. (Have you thought about making a web version of your game available? It may get more plays) It took me a while to figure out that I am supposed to throw objects out the balcony. Your game has a nice spooky atmosphere to it. The outdoor scene is great, I was worried about hitting someone or oncoming traffic with the objects XD

Thank you for your kind compliments on my game. The source of the song is in the credits on the game's itch page. The cat is supposed to be a deja vu moment. You could run into it multiple times depending on which door you take.

Your game is so unique! I love the art and the music, I really enjoy it. Nice game!

And here's my game maybe someone here wants to play it.

Thanks for checking out my game!

I tried yours as well. You sure did well in making it feel creepy. (Why does everyone who reply here so far make games with creepy or spooky atmosphere?? XD) I noticed you made the game art, wish I have your artistic talent! Though, I had a hard time figuring out when the screen flash black and what staring at the right object means.

An event occurs when you stare at a specific object for a few seconds several times (I was thinking like in real life when you're alone and start looking around; I don't know if it's only me xD)

The TV flashing black is a sign you're staring at the correct object and are done staring at that object (if an event doesn't occur, you need to stare at it in the next round)

Love the laid-backness; and the pixel aesthetic fits it well! Don’t know why it’s in space but it grew on me after a while. I’m guessing the 2-Dimensions comes in because it’s 2D and you can only move in 2 Directions? Cool game!

Here’s mine, by the way https://agmas.itch.io/nl

Well if promoting is the name of the game.... :D

People promoting their hard work on their games by just posting wanton links to their entries, like this?

For shame! I can't believe you all.

Oof well I submited 1 hour before the deadline because of my perfectionism, I had to polish things up a lot
But well I did have to downscope a little bit with some things, but I am extremely proud of my neon beauty, you know if you like puzzle games you will definitely be surprised by my spin on it🤓

Absolutely love the chillness of your game. Played+ rated. I can see a lot of hard work went into designing the maps. I left some comments and what I think would be some improvements. Those are just my personal opinions :) great work! Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2023/rate/2092459

I guess if everyone else is plugging it would be rude not to!
