Somehow I could not get out of level 1, I was probably missing something obvious :D Apart from that, as others have said the controls probably need to be a bit different and some kind of tutorial wouldn't be a bad idea. Amazing art!

Interesting concept!! The mouse control i think it is a little bit off, nice!

Nice level designs, I like the pixel art used in this game they really stand out good job D. would try out my game and rate it according.

I love the art and I think the music was a lot of fun, though I agree with the other commenters that control screen was a bit much to not only learn but also remember. If you decided to expand on this game, it might be a good idea to consider spacing out when certain mechanics are introduced to make the tutorial more bite sized.

Other than that, I thought it was a great choice to have the fun music in the other world abruptly cut out when returning to reality. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and I appreciate your review:)

I liked the dual realities and having to manage both of them. I was interested in where the hospital scene would go.  The controls  were a little hard to get accustomed to - specifically the mouse parts felt like it would have been key buttons instead. Though overall very intriguing!

Developer

Oh! That is a good idea indeed. Thank you for playing!

Interesting concept, cool graphics, and nice atmosphere. The tutorial was a bit confusing and it took me a while to understand the mechanics, and the controls could be smoother, especially the shooing. Nice choise of music. Overall this is a very good and polished game.

nice pixel art ;)

Cool concept!

Stellar work on your game, comrade! I've given my rating. Can you take a moment to play and rate my game?

You implemented really a lot of mechanics in this game, well done! Loved also the change of music between sanity and madness. :D One note on initial screens: they are packed with a lot of info and different mechanics, maybe it could help user experience to have small hints thought gameplay on one mechanic at the time.

Other than that, well done, I enjoyed playing it. :)

Hey, the music for a "fantasy" realm is absolutely awesome, and the contrast of going to hospital is great. Good job!

Submitted

The concept is incredible! It's so cool to switch between words.  The only thing is that the game is a little buggy, for example I can shoot without any cooldown, and also while traveling around the hospital and clicking on objects, I hear the sounds of a shot from another world. In any case, great game, concept and implementation!

This is so cool! I love the juggling between the two worlds, and the stark differences between them. The music is great. There's a lot to keep track of and it's awesome. I never actually got out though, I'm a ragequitter to be sure. Great game.

Developer

Hahahaha it is not your fault!!! Thank you so much for trying !!

Quite a fun mechanic with the juggling between the imagination and psych ward! Maybe would have hoped a little bit bigger are on the imagination and different enemies, right now it was quite easy to just run through the game and find the stuff.

All in all imaginative mechanic with moving both at the same time, so you had to be careful not to walk at the guards (although getting in that one room let you be forever in imagination). Hoped that you could have progressed there as well than just kill enemies.

Thank you for your detailed play-through and suggestions!!

This was a lot to take in at first haha, a lot of health bars and screens to keep track of. I eventually got into it though, mostly cause the aesthetic between the two locations was such a cool contrast. The badass music of the hallucination paired with the creepy as hell ambience of the hospital kept me playing. I did run into a bug where I opened the drawer and had the note up on the screen, but I wasn't able to figure out how to close it (and then I foolishly hit 'Esc' which made the gameplay window small again and ultimately led to me getting eaten by ghosts... oh well, so it goes).

I went back and read the game page cause I wasn't entirely sure what I'm supposed to do, but now that I'm armed with spoilers, I'll give it another go and try to find the exit. All in all a really cool interpretation of the Life in 2D theme though, and the mood and atmosphere really got me into it.

Developer

Thank you!! I am sorry about the bug and I really appreciate your effort for trying to figure this game out:)

Lol too funny toggling between an adventure and psych ward!

I'm so sorry, but I can't review and rate yours :') My screen is too small (I'm afraid if I rate yours, it'll be irrelevant). But, at least, I really like your pixel art

Developer

It could've mostly be my fault because I have had some issues with frames... but if you click the blue button to expand the window it should work.

🙃

Developer

Sorry about this...🥲

Submitted

Interesting idea. The two "worlds" feel like two totally different games.

Submitted

Really cool game idea. But what are all of the endings

Developer

There is two endings: one is when the hero got killed by the ghosts, which is the "Brain dead" ending, there is also the escaped ending where you find yourself outside of the hospital but got hit by a car (the "winning" ending haha)

I dont know why but I got outside the map (in the hospital)xD. however, pretty cool concept for the game. I dont know if its intended or not but I can spam drink beer, my opinion, I think its better if you give the player some consequences like if you drink too much beer for X Second, your player will be drunk, and enemy will spawn more often for example.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Hahaha getting drunk is a fun idea!!!

Could you elaborate where you got outside of the map?

Submitted(+1)

I forgot where is the exact location, but it's kind of a corner somewhere not too far from the spawn loc.

Developer

Thank you!!
