After chatting with the sad sacks in the gray level, visiting the money grubbers in the bunker, and climbing to the highest high place, I finally did what I wanted to do: follow the light blue bridge on the right side of the screen until the end, just to see what was there. Truly, this is who I am.

I really admire that you created a small but meaningful experience with such a simple set of tools.

Feels like there are a lot to be explored here. Can’t talk to every character in 3m27s. Value your time, I guess that the message?

Developer

Yeah, you need like 3-5 attempts to talk to all of them.

Very cool concept focused on exploration and story, I love this. I tried to reach the far east but didn't had the time. I have to try with a full chrono meter ;)

Really cute character and a nice little adventure. Very replayable

Developer

Did you find the higher being? It's a secret. :). All of the guys show up in the death animation. He moves super fast there at the top.

Very nihilist game, it's a bit depressing but good job.

I love exploring so it was super fun to replay and see all the characters and zones. I wish there was some deeper lore or something, and more personalities for the npcs. Still it was a very fun experience for me!

Interesting take on the theme. I found myself replaying a few times to see more of the NPCs' dialogue. Though, I did notice some of the NPCs said variations of the same thing. For example, one would say "Looks like I'm lost" and another would say "I'm lost." There were also plenty of variations of "This looks like a good place to X" and "Can't wait for the universe to end" type of dialogue, which made a lot of the characters feel too similar to one another.

With that said, the idea of talking to different people and hearing their thoughts knowing the world is about to end is an interesting concept. Add more variety in characters and dialogue and this would be even better. Nice job!

It seems we've got the same interpretation of the theme! I like the characters had different attitudes towards their fate.

Interesting take on the theme!

It's a philosophical exploration. While it's a good idea, the simplified graphic and the BGM kinda reduced the potential for people to be immersed in the idea of "the universe is ending".

Maybe you don't even need to have the time limit nor something to rush the player.

Just the idea of exploring how people act or think alone would already offered a lot.

Maybe making this idea into walking sim where the player just walking around and talking to people. Then the player can decide what kind of activity to do before the universe ended. Of course without the time limit.

It's like allowing the players to really think about it rather than rushing for the results.

Or you could take things the other way around, well I won't tell you how because it's a much better idea to make games than just walking sim to help people explore the philosophical questions.

Don't get me wrong, philosophical games are great. It's just hard to make a good one.
