Thank you all for your kind comments and feedback! It's been a fun jam and good luck with your game dev journeys
Trippy and melancholic. I have to say I liked it. You kind of went after the kind of game I don't think you can pull off in many other spaces, and I respect that. Themes of acceptance and letting go, felt almost Buddhist by the end when I began to accept that this was just going to happen and there was nothing I could do. Great work.
Thanks! Although game is generally left open for interpretation this is closest to how I personally see the game rather than full on nihilism as others may have suggested. Thank you for your kind comment and congrats on the jam!
I reached equilibrium. I love the more somber tone of this game. It conveys the story very well. The whole presentation is great and feels very cohesive. Great submission, well done!
I have reached equilibrium... but I had my fish... I don't know where to cook it since mine broke down :(
I like the idea and aesthetics, it was a bit grim since I couldn't find a way to survive, or even understand what was happening.
Good submission.
Cute and sad. I like the story. The cut scene after catching the fish, something striking about that.
A bit sad
Great game!
Well now I'm sad. well done, though!
Wow, I'm really impressed by this whole world you've created here, it's pretty deep! Loved the pixel art and the overall color palette, really adds to the bleakness of the story. Also the dissolving effect at the end is so cool!
I can see this is one of those "Not for me" type of games. Looks stunning, but mechanically I don't find it riveting, and depressing plot about the end of all things, bit of a stretch for the theme of the jam for me honestly. That being said I'm sure this scratches some other people's itches, and I can see this getting a lot of fan fair if built on.
I tried to avoid equilibrium but never succeeded :(.
Sad and short story, but well told. Loved it had some mini-games in it.
Not exactly sure what’s going on, but everything about this game seems to be in equilibrium.
I've reached equlibrium :(,
Well done on telling a short story! loved that you included fishing minigames & the plant watering one, Great job!
Bizarrely depressing game :(
I fished, i watered plants, but none of that could stop my beloved from reaching equilibrium. But at least i respected the old lady's last wishes to not raid her home after she died (well, I did try, but did not succeed).
I really liked the subtle narrative, the atmosphere and the aesthetics for this! Reminded me a lot of the gameboy classic RPGs like Pokemon Blue.
Surreal experience
Thanks! Pokemon Blue happened to be one of my earliest gaming memories
You have reached equilibrium. Fun little game with the end of time coming near.
Wow, what a story. I played a few times. It's very beautiful and sad. Excellent work!
Nicely presented story. Thanks for the game.
I have my fish!
Great job on the submission. Loved the mini games and graphics!
awesome game! great art and sounds, the controls are responsive ,the mechanics and mini games are easy to understand. Great storytelling too, the gameplay reflects the apocalyptic future . Enjoyed playing this one! congratulations! keep it up!
