cool game, a bit hard though. I would have preferred it if the dash and the jump key where not adjacent on the keyboard, but maybe that just my bad coordination :o

oh... I played celeste on controller, otherwise it may have gone better for me xD
I liked the overall presentation and very much enjoyed the multi directional dash gameplay. I thought it was a bit unfair that my own thorns from dashing would kill me, but it did add to the strategizing of where to best place them. Well done on your game!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it was mainly done for strategic thinking and to prevent the player from spamming the skill anytime/ anywhere :)

Cool game! One life with fairly large hitboxes and fast melee movement is pretty brutal, but the game looks nice and has a solid atmosphere. Thanks for sharing! :)

At first I was oh god another platformer, but the the dash defense mechanic is genius! Great Idea!

Awesome game! The art is impressive and the music goes well with it. This game has a good learning curve and the instructions are clear to the player which makes the mechanics easy to understand. The gameplay is appropriate with the theme. This has good replay value. Overall I enjoyed playing this game, congratulations! keep it up!

I thought the dash was also going to be building little platforms for my archdruid. Then it would have had three functions! Just an idea. Overall enjoyable to play! Defend the forest!

Nice game. Dash mechanics sounds cool but the should be more playable with aa gamepad, I had hard times with my keyboard. Some of the arts sounds AI generated and does not fit the artistic direction of the game so it looses in consistency, Am I wrong ?
Yeap) We only had pixel artists, so all other art is generated. We should use all technologies to make the game) Thanks for the comment <3

I didn't get to the second level- but I had fun playing! the dash mechanic was nice, and the scale of the characters on the screen was perfect for this kind of game, well done!

Well done :) I'm terrible at it, but I like the mechanics. Would be nice if it saved between enemy waves. Also would be nice if there was more obvious feedback when getting hurt by your own gas - having that disabled in the tutorial was a little confusing.
Ahahahha yeah, it's a bit hard) We thought about saves for easy mode after the game jam submission, but agree it would be nice to add for some users) About hurt indicator, we wanted to add a camera effect after each hit, but there was no time for it. Agree with all your points <3

if you looking for camera shake, dotween (free on the asset store) has a good and easy-to-use shake that i've used a bunch

awesome game! I don't have the perfect keyboard setup for the controls unfortunately but still managed to play it kinda fine. Have to try it again with a proper keyboard tomorrow :D
Thanks! It takes some getting used to if you use wasd more but you'll get the hang of it ;)
